 Too big to have on my counter from day to day.  It looks exactly like the hair blow dryers we used in the 50's and 60's.  In fact, I would not  be surprised if the design was taken from  one.

My advice:  if you have an oven, use it and save your money.  This air fryer works great but it takes a lot of room on your counter and the results will be the same as cooking in your oven and reducing the fat.  But if you really want that golden brown look and crisp exterior, you will not get it with the air fryer.

Good product with a few drawbacks.

 When I made the wings I didnt have the liners yet so I lined the basket with parchment paper that I had cut out and made holes in. The wings did very well and clean up was a breeze using parchment paper. This fryer seems to be alright for cooking for two people but you will need a much larger one if cooking for an entire family. Still not able to get the menu function to work but it may be that I need to reread the instructions on that portion, putting in your own time and temperature is very easy to do

 My only complaint thus far is the sticking to the non stick basket and pan but the parchment paper liners solve that issue. It does take a lot of counter space and has suction cups on the bottom which for me is a nuisance but I understand why they would have them for more safety. With the burger next time we will cook for less time it was moist and well done on the inside and they did taste good. We were able to do 4 burgers at a time, have since purchased a shelf accessory to add a second layer to put more burgers on at the same time

Still testing it out.

While the machine is better than just frying in oil or the oven, I have to use a higher temp along with usually 4-8 minutes longer depending on what is in and how thick. Cleanup isn’t that easy for the 2 I received (one was replaced under warranty as it had even worse problems with heating). Eventually I can get it clean but I spend over 15 minutes sometimes depending on what I cook.  The “non-stick” coating scrapes off around the bottom of the basket and the top edges of the lower chamber

  Both were made in 2017. I doubt I’d buy from them again. I thought this was a great option when I bought it, and at the time it was, but it has failed to maintain proper cooking temps.

 Then I breaded up some 1" thick pork chops and they came out great. So much better than all other attempts at oven baking either one of the two.  It is easy to clean and use. Just set the time and temp

Soo Cool to Use

I bought this one after buying a smaller air fryer. Although I was impressed with the small fryer's performance, it was small and didn't have digital controls (gave it to our daughter and her girls love it) and wanted this larger Elite fryer based on Consumer Reports rating. As others have written, it's a big counter appliance. Probably not suitable for an apartment, but with a good amount of counter space in my kitchen I can put it in an easily accessible place out of the way

 I've fried breaded mozzarella sticks (of course), frozen breaded chicken breasts, hot dogs, frozen fries/onion rings and even soggy two day old fries from Burger King and they all came out nice and crispy. I am experimenting with temps and times, but haven't burned anything yet. Seems 350-390 F works well and, depending on the product, usually check after 5 minutes increasing time if necessary.  The fryer basket sits in a removable basket and both are easy to clean. The mozz sticks oozed a little on to the baskets and after it cooled to the touch just simply wiped it clean with a damp paper towel.

Very Pleased

 You can get a lot of cooking ideas from FB groups once you figure out the correct times. There is a slight learning curve to that part but once you get it food comes out terrific. We did have a problem with the inner pan scratching but we called up the company and they sent a new pan right away. Other than that this airfryer is awesome

Love the air fryer - okay if it was oil based it would be better tasting, but for health reasons I went with the Elite Platinum Air fryer and am very happy. Shrimp, wings, sweet potato fries, regular fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks are the items that I've made so far. All came out very good and used a teaspoon or two of oil only (for fries at least) to get things crispy.  Easy to use, easy to clean, and quick to cook, were the main reasons that this outperforms the oven

I loved my Zavor, even though I only used it about once every two months. I kept it clean, but after a little over a year, it exploded once while I was cooking some sausages in beer. It was a small explosion, steam went everywhere from the lid. I got a new sealing gasket, and tried again, this time with rice. It exploded again. I am too scared to try a third time, and since my pressure cooker is out of warranty, I am looking for a new one!

I loved the Zavor but the fact that it broke after I used it less than ten times make me wary about trying that brand again, although I guess I'd be willing to try. Are there any recommendations for a pressure cooker that is comparable with the Zavor LUX? My budget is about 150. I'm considering the InstantPot Ultra but I don't want to jump the gun since there are so many.

Zavor LUX LCD Multicooker Exploded- in the market for a new pressure cooker

I have the 8 qt Duo Crisp that comes with the air fryer lid. It effectively turns the IP into a small convection oven, I rarely use my regular oven any more because this heats up so much faster and uses less electricity. I probably use it less for air frying than just for roasting or baking things, perfect for roasting a dish of veggies, baking some frozen appetizers or baking the feta and tomatoes for the Internet-famous tomato-feta pasta recipe.

Pros and Cons for IP with air fryer

 This thing holds a LOT of stuff; between it and the pegboard it sits under, I've effectively doubled my kitchen's storage.

where do you keep your instant pot?

 My only complaint is that the beeping to let us know our food is done is loud and too long. Ours beeps 5 times which seems a little excessive to me. We also use it so often that cleaning it becomes annoying, but we decided to purchase a second inner pot and solved that problem really quickly! Highly recommend for any size family, definitely for small kitchens and for any level of cook. Makes your life easier, guaranteed!

 Thoughts on improvement which may guide your decision:  If the lids fit into one another, as in stacked for usage, or simply stacked it would make storage better. Otherwise, make sure you have space for two of these, so that you aren't short. I don't see why the pressure cooker lid can't be more disc-shaped and act as the stand for the air-fry lid.  The cord has an awkward storage method and would be better suited if the prong housing bent at 90° so that while in operation it was more flush, especially, since it seems the major diameter is at the same height of many countertop outlets

Worth it mostly. Bigger than you expect. Too much for the average user.

 Replaced my crock pot, rice cooker, lack of dehydrator, and lack of airfrier. Don’t make popcorn in it unless testing your smoke alarm or trying to get guests out of your house. Shouldn’t have to say this, but don’t dishwasher the electric parts like the frier lid.

Grabbed this on black friday promo as it saved on counter space combining instant pot and airfrier. Haven’t trued the dehydrator, but both of its primary functions work well. Makes better rice than American rice cookers, but so so compared to a Zojirushi. Thanksgiving was easier with this as it saved over space and made air fried potato skins the MVP casserole topping and brussel sprouts crisp
