Everything is fine holds a set point of 225 watts erg No problems at all power numbers are good I change into the big ring a few down in the back a few hardest to the flywheel speed just at around 30 kilometers An hour and everything is good there not as stable if I was to really nitpick But still absolutely fine for training accuracy is good and then on the front big ring 11 gear on the back Spin things up and a lot of trainers never pass this part of the test and it's not a real big one You should not be training erg mode in the 5311 trainers just do not have that kind of working zone So the flywheel speed there was around 45 kilometers an hour It was unable to hold 225 watts erg which is a relatively low power for that kind of flywheel speed However, the power numbers were still pretty good So not a fail there on this one at the end there because the power numbers were good It's just simply identifying the working zone for the flywheel speed You'll likely always come across tips for erg mode Which say keep it in the small ring in the front and mid-range cassette at the back What that does is it keeps most trainers within the correct working speed zone for the flywheel to be able to apply the correct Resistance for the erg set point gets a little technical the takeaway is erg mode small ring. You'll be good So in summary there after many rides on this many llama lab tests and a lot of my own personal training sessions And then diving into the numbers

 The unit's really weighty, it seems firmly on the ground and even when hoofing out the saddle, it remains solid. Here is the rub. In Bluetooth mode on the Alpe d'Huez, on the corners, the slope came off far too much, so your resistance just totally fell away and it would leave you spinning out. Yeah, you could argue you need to change gear, but honestly, you need to change gear a hell of a lot to get resistance back on

 Seems easier to get the power on and hold it there. The real flywheel is probably a great help in this respect. The unit's really weighty, it seems firmly on the ground and even when hoofing out the saddle, it remains solid. Here is the rub

 But price-wise, this is a top-end trainer and it retails at some places in the UK, according to Google Shopping, at 765 pounds UK, which is terrific, considering that some of its competitors are 1,000 pounds. So a great turbo trainer, really good. Big thumbs up from us. Thanks for watching

 My calorie burn my distance overall they're very comfortable, alright, so that's about it for this review of the Marci MV 709 magnetic resistance, recumbent bike, it's a solid bike. I, like all features on it. I like how it's adjustable to your leg length and I've got a long legs, so I was able to and I'm able to like use it comfortably, but you can bring it back down to two to meet your meet your needs. It'S got the computer monitor, which is nice distance, calorie count stuff like that to track your workouts

My Marcy Recumbent Exercise Bike Review!! Is It Worth Getting? (4 Year Update)

 Make sure that all the material itself is lined up nicely with the holes just going in so it kind of feels like it's gon na stop. You know the next thing they want you to do. We'Ve got a little wire connection and you've got to connect, and then you've got another piece that you need to put this way. Look at the instructions which shows you exactly how to put it on anything any clip in the wire so first what they work about

 I'M gon na go around them. They'Re kind of sling them all up on this. Make sure that all the material itself is lined up nicely with the holes just going in so it kind of feels like it's gon na stop. You know the next thing they want you to do

 So now we've got two zip ties here, holding the cardboard on the main piece here. That'S the base part that goes into this part right here. Zip ties there remove as well ban that, and then it says something about in here that you have this piece here. This is remove this part before assembly and then the instructions even said the same thing

 Real, quick! Stick them in my mouth! Make sure you don't swallow them. That would be a bad thing. Okay, that way, I just don't drop them, so I'm gon na go ahead and hook it up now. This has a little button like a little snap, because it goes down these little slots over the side of this it snaps in place does have a little rubber band, pull your wire in place there

Marcy ME-709 Recumbent Exercise Bike

 If you are expecting quality, any type of accuracy on the digital readout, or a gym style setup then don't buy this, you need to move into a higher price bracket.  I would only buy this again if I was on a strict budget and/or this was my first exercise bike and I wanted to get into it first without breaking the bank (which is what I did). Initially it was nice to be able to bike inside during rough times of COVID and get into this without breaking the bank. When I move, I will probably just replace this bike with a more expensive, more solid, and more accurate one

Overall, it's fine for general exercise, but it's got some issues

 Another valid complaint is that the straps come undone while you pedal. Poor design for sure. I had to use black electric tape to fix that problem. There is a digital readout that shows you the time, distance, calories, and total of all sessions

 It has a nice weight to it and doesn't scream "Cheap." For the price even with the hard seat and straps coming loose, it's still a good value. You can move it easily. It has adjustable levelers

"  Negatives: I agree with others who have complained about the seat being somewhat uncomfortable after you've sat on it a few minutes or longer. I remedied that by putting a memory foam cushion on top of the seat. Another valid complaint is that the straps come undone while you pedal. Poor design for sure

 The shipping weight is 66 lbs. One of the reasons I chose this particular bike was the weight. I didn't want something that I couldn't move from my front porch to my basement. That part worked out fine

  After reviewing a number of possible bikes I chose the Marcy Recumbent Exercise Bike model ME-709. I don't have Amazon Prime, but to my surprise it was shipped the same day I purchased it. The shipping weight is 66 lbs. One of the reasons I chose this particular bike was the weight

Two things keep this bike from being wonderful, but it's still decent.

 4) There is a slight design problem with the computer mounting. The bike ships with two screws screwed into the back of the computer case. The instructions tell you to remove those screws, slide the case onto the handlebars, and then screw the screws back in. The problem is that there is really nothing sturdy holding to nuts that the screws screw into in the inside of the case

Excellent recumbant bike comfortable to use throughout the day

I purposely waited almost a year to write a review of this bike. First, I'm going to focus on the performance:  The handles are not very good. The placements are awkward and I get the impression that if I tried to use the rear grips as more than rudimentary arm rests that they would eventually break. You definitely do not want to use them for lifting yourself up and down
