E.l.f. Wow Brow Gel vs Gimme Brow+ Tinted Volumizing Gel

Elf brow pencil in light brown, elf brow gel in taupe, lash princess mascara in black, physicians formula concealer in fair light.

Great product but the color is off! I got the #6 which is suppose to be black but I'd more of a medium brown which looks a little off on me. It's supposed to be water resistant but smears on me sometimes which is also strange.There doesn't seem to be a lot of product in the bottle for the cost so I'm deducting a few stars for it. Don't know if I will repurchase since I got it on the 21 days of beauty where it was 50% off but not too sure if I will pay full price for such a small amount of product that doesn't match color description

Does what it should! It doesn't flake and the application is nice! I would say the brown is a lot lighter than I expected, but don't really see myself needing black for my eyebrows. Other than the color being a bit too blonde, I still use and like the product. I just use it to fill sparse areas and it's not enough of an issue with the color to be really obvious.

On a medium makeup day I apply the same way after using the brow powder. Finally, on hot, humid days or nights I apply the powder, then the pomade, then gimme brow. It lasts until I take it off!!

I agree with another reviewer that it's best applied horizontally first, then I brush upward to fluff and shape. It has medium hold which is fine for me. It tints my light fuzzy hairs, finding brows I didn't know I had! After the gel dries, I go in with pencil to fill in gaps (uses much less pencil and time that way) but the gel can help with that a little too. Other gels tend to clump up on me over the course of the day, but this elf one stays light and natural-looking
