Why is this so hyped up?

First, let me say, I just turned 63, have tried many types of cosmetics from the very expensive to drugstore. I love cosmetics but they must be good and perform. E.L

 And that's in the Southern heat. I will say however, the shade I purchased is VERY light, (Fair Beige) even for me. The color is more like a LIGHT IVORY, in my opinion.

I love elf putty blushes and bronzers as an inexpensive alternative to other things but their complexion products are a nightmare. I bought two concealers and both were awful, non-human colors. One turned ORANGE and the other had a grey-green undertone. I put them on my bare face and they didn’t blend, then I used a primer and it left streaks

mine was the rimmel lasting finish comfort serum foundation! i cant rememeber what the finish was like because back then (which was only last year....) i didnt ovserve it closely and just slapped it on with my fingers and left the house. i cringe everytime i think about it because despite the fact it was probably completely streaky, ive recently realised how pale i am and i literally would have been wearing a shade that was like.... 5 shades too dark. and oh god the undertone must have been completely off because ive also recently realised that im green asf. ive tried to push this memory to the back of my mind lmao
