 In most scenarios, at least that's the way it's supposed to be plumbed, a lot of times you'll have indicators like the top of the valve will actually have red and blue. Doesn't necessarily mean that that is hot and cold. If you really have your doubts, you can always run the hot water into a bucket, just verify that that is the hot side, but I know in my case that this is hot, that's cold. We're going to go ahead and connect our hose to the hot one first

 This line's actually going to my dryer. This is going to be where I'm going to connect my cold, going to my washer, tighten it down as tight as we can by hand. We do a quarter turn and then we're going to connect the other end of it on the back of the unit here where the blue connection is. Blue for cold, red for hot

 One thing about the drain hose, we want to ensure that the washer, this washer actually serves a purpose. It keeps this line from being shoved too far down that standpipe so that we don't have any siphoning issues. We want to keep that right there and then we're going to put our zip tie on it to hold it in place to make certain it doesn't blow out. The last thing I'm going to do is I'm going to run this thing through for a few minutes, verify that I don't have any leaks, that the unit's going to be safe to leave with the consumer

 We're doing the cold, so we're shooting for the blue, tight as I can by hand and then a quarter turn, just a little bit more than a quarter turn on that one. I didn't tighten it very much by hand. Now, we're going to turn our water valve on, turn our water supply on, see if we have any leaks. Now, since I did connect this to the dryer as well, I want to check that connection as well, verify we don't have any leaks from anything

 It'S almost 2 grand for the whole set, there's really a lot to like about this washer, so let's go over it. The first thing is: is that to me it's a very large capacity. Ah sure I could wash a whole week's worth of laundry in one go in this 4.5 cubic foot tub

 I wanted to see more water that turbo washed 360 really gives the impression that there is plenty of water to go around, even though there's pretty much the same as a WM 3500 s, which is not very much.  So I know I complained on the maytag, but the noises on some reason. I I like the chimes better on this than the other one, and it's it's loud. I can hear it across the house, and I can also this actually has an app feature which I haven't hooked up yet, but your app can tell you like when it's done. That'S pretty cool, and this is like basically the same price as the Maytag, and I feel like that's a pretty big feature that it did not have

LG DLEX3900B WM3900HBA & DLEX3900B Review

 The LG set fits perfectly. Uses less water and energy and they are much , much quieter. They are also very fast when using the speed functions.  I don’t normally use cold water to wash but I have tried it with this washer and the clothes get very clean
