What really makes the combat and elbow ring so good though, is its enemy design and variety. Not only are a fair number of them horrifying, but some of these baddies are absolutely vicious, coming at you with wild swings and combos that seemingly go on forever and can hit from 10 feet away. Yeah, like that

 You also have more freedom in how you approach combat than any previous Fromsoft game, thanks to a bunch of familiar new systems that are used in interesting ways. Here you can crouch, walk, and use stealth to avoid detection, or more easily sneak up for a backstab. You can fight on horseback, you can craft items on the fly, you can summon a huge variety of creatures to fight for you, and most substantially, you can equip ashes of War to your weapons and completely change their affinity and skill. Elden Ring is an Arcade Game

Often, I find myself standing right next to large mob and unable to hit it with my sword at all. The swings just don't connect

 This is another Dark Souls-type game, except it's more poorly balanced than ever, making it an exercise in frustration that is more similar to Sekiro than Dark Souls (though still better than Sekiro). It's now also open world, and makes many of the same mistakes of other open world games.  Combat - Bosses and many regular mobs do constant chain attacks, with little to no opening in between that would allow you to attack. This renders slower weapons useless

 It's a big, broad, beautiful shooter that nails the Star Wars' atmosphere almost everywhere. The campaign is still a bit of a snore and occasionally long queue times and matchmaking, and a handful of forgettable game modes give the multiplayer a couple of caveats, but highlights like Capital Supremacy make it stand out, and the progression system is fair and rewarding.  It's not very difficult to queue up for the main modes like Capital Supremacy and Galactic Assault, especially on Ps4, but smaller modes like Hero Showdown and Hero Star Fighters can take a few minutes of waiting before you can enjoy them. Almost since the beginning, Star Wars has been a story of redemption from Darkness, So in an ironic sort of way, Battlefront 2 is a better Star Wars game because of its initial fall to the Dark side and subsequent journey back to the Light. After over two years of updates and changes, EA and Dice have redeemed this gorgeous shooter and turned into one of the best multiplayer adaptations of the Star Wars universe to date, Taking an all Battlefront to now has to offer at once is honestly a bit overwhelming. Setting aside the overly safe, short and disappointing single-player story, there's a wealth of wave based cooperative maps and a litany of online competitive multiplayer modes. Most of them play wonderfully and they all use that classic Star Wars look and feel on an unrivaled scale

 The story campaign is perfectly fine. However, most people play this game for the online arcade mode to battle in teams against other players. The original Battlefront 1 and 2 that came out years ago (early 2000s) had the same type of gameplay, but the new Battlefront 1 and 2 were made by EA, and that's where the problems begin.  For parents: What is not listed on the box is EA's toxic behavior of putting loot boxes (unregulated gambling) and pay to win tactics (paid upgrades for the best gear and playable characters such as jedi and sith) into the game

 So, unbeknownst to you parents out there, your child or teenager is being exposed to unregulated gambling in their videogame if they get a hold of your money, and being tempted to purchase their favorite characters from StarWars to play as in the game. The game does not force them to pay any additional charges, but they will have to spend hours playing the game just to be able to play as Luke, Vader, or other popular StarWars characters due to how EA uses this 'grind' to tempt many players to cheat ahead by buying the characters instead. Unfortunately this is also present in games such as Overwatch and Fortnite. Please be advised and monitor your child's gameplay experience

 There are different game modes that have no guide or tutorial in them all bunched up in on 40 player game mode. No way to chose what map you want or which unique mode to play. The menus are glitchy and hard to manage. There is no real player customization if you wanted to make your online trooper look different from the rest

  Overall I'm glad I bought it, especially now that EA has gotten rid of a lot of the pay-to-play stuff. If you love Star Wars games, you'll definitely enjoy this for at least the single player campaign.

 You really need a fast, solid internet connection to play this one, or you will have some lag and glitches. The story campaign was maybe the best part, and if nothing else it's a good practice for playing online--although you won't get most of the weapons and abilities available in it until you play a LOT of multiplayer.  Overall I'm glad I bought it, especially now that EA has gotten rid of a lot of the pay-to-play stuff. If you love Star Wars games, you'll definitely enjoy this for at least the single player campaign

Fun for a little while

 It’s a mix between shootouts, lightsaber fighting and vehicular combat including space battles. My favorite multiplayer mode is Heroes vs Villains which puts Light Side heroes up against the Dark Side villains from all three trilogies. This mode has a mix between lightsaber code quarter and long range gun fights.  GRAPHICS 8/10 The graphics are very good
