I wanted a lightweight packable jacket to wear in the rain, and this fit the bill perfectly, as well as the budget!

 This fit very comfortably, arms stretched out and all. I often have trouble with sleeves riding up when I do that, very.minimal here. Also things often pull across my shoulder blades, not in this case

 I'm 5'6 ish and around 158 pounds. I ordered a medium which to me felt too snug with a thicker layer such as a sweatshirt. It would have been okay with a thin spring shirt. I hope this helps with sizing

I survived Hurricane Harvey in this raincoat!! NEVER once did I get soaked in this raincoat!! I have used a Columbia and a Tommy Hilfiger raincoat and I was soaking wet as they did not hold up at all. I will be buying two more for my children! My husband also has one and he stayed dry in his as well. I will never buy another brand again for raincoats! I like that it is lightweight also!!

This is an upgrade to last year's Cloud Cap -- meaning it's not as "crunchy." What I really like about this rain jacket is the functionality. Not only does it keep me dry, it has side vents, adjustable cuffs, the hood is adjustable and stays on, and I can fold it into one pocket and toss it in my pack! The purple is way better in person -- Just a side note: the zipper is not light purple like pictured online, it is the same color as the jacket. I debated between the small and x small because I am between sizes, but decided to go with the small so I can layer underneath if needed

 The trade-off, I think 427 quid dice, I said, could have lasted a bit longer on the waterproofing. Yes, it's incredibly lightweight, incredibly strong, it's quite stylish yeah. I just wish it would last a bit longer with that coating. This jacket is definitely for minimal, ultralight, backpackers they're, not looking for something that's gon na keep them warm they'll already have an insulated jacket that will go on underneath this for that, and also have a mid layer and everything so they'll be well into the ultralight fast Hiking they're gon na know, if they're going to be walking in some really dry conditions where it doesn't rain

 I'Ve got a fully adjustable hem and cuffs and reflective logos and a carabiner loop. The stitching and pattern cutting on this particular jacket are very good. However, a close inspection on the inside on some of the seams, where the seams are tapes and they're kind of overlap, it just doesn't quite reflect the price point I mean. I know this material is probably quite an expensive material, but I would have hoped that the stitching was a little bit better on some of the seams, especially where they've been taped on the most part

 They may as well make a pocket. That'S gon na actually better fit stuff. EDIT: Thanks you all very much for the quick responses - this is one of the best subs on reddit by a long shot. Majority loves Arc&#39;teryx. Clearly they command the price point they do for a reason - people stand by their gear. Patagonia I am going to look hard into as well as I think Arc&#39;teryx could very well be comparable but, again, much more expensive.

EDIT 2: Spoke too soon? There is a lot of controversy over Arc&#39;teryx customer service (in recent years). I am not hearing many bad things about Patagonia. And now people have flooded a lot of brands into the comments I have never looked into. This thread didn&#39;t make it much easier, but I took Carhart out of the mix, I think intended usage and fit are not what I am looking for. Despite them being durable and thought of as quality.
