 It is just not the most sturdy bag ever. It says that it is for a laptop and while it will hold it I would for sure not carry it with only one strap over one shoulder as I am not certain it is sturdy enough to do this without ripping. Honestly, I have a 15' laptop so I won't use it for my laptop again as I don't trust the strength but if you have a very small laptop it may work. The quality of construction on this one is a tad bit lacking to categorize it as a laptop backpack, but if you are just headed out for a hike, or the zoo or an excursion and just need a couple things, it will be perfect

 Here, that's actually a separate compartment and you may have been able to see inside you kind of got this bunched up fabric at the bottom. This you can show you that, and part of that is because how this bottom work. So it's it's separating the this bottom here and you know this is a decent spot. If you carry an extra pair of shoes with you, maybe it's wintertime

 There'S a little bit of dimension built in but probably better for flatter items, maybe a small notebook and then inside. If you can see, there's another little divider. So let's say you have maybe some tech stuff or your pens in the divider and then your notebook or other things in the front also could be a good spot to toss. You know wallet and keys, so there is that we always like a quick access pocket on one side
