I heard a news anchor I admire gush about this REPLICA scent and I had a hard time imagining a perfume with a fireplace smell to it and then I got it and I’m SO GLAD!!! Think smoky with chestnuts. Cheerful blaze against winter glaze…Never worn a unisex scent either, I tend toward girly florals, but this works either way-equally alluring and homey, with a slight ember spark to it. It is expensive and rarely goes on sale but was totally worth it for me. My friend who can't commit to any perfume for longer than a month, just buys samples or asks for them in stores.

I have a couple other scents from Maison Margiela, but for this one I couldn't get past the sample bottle. It just smells straight up like cigarettes. I could get the same effect from a $10 pack of Marlboros.

Guerlain Eau de Cologne Imperiale is easily the worst. It barely sticks to clothes for more than an hour.
