RYRA Klone Pedals with Pete & Ariel - Guitar Paradiso

 I have loads of overdrives. The Klon thing, for me, was always kind of an eye-rolling, oh geez, they command insane prices. They're kind of like the dumbbell of the pedal world. So, I don't know, I guess I never really gave those pedals that much credence, assuming they were all hype and that the tone was just like nothing special, probably

 There are a lot of wonderful designs out there, but this one seemed to be, from what I could tell, pretty damn close, having never plugged into an actual Klon Centaur myself. So, what we're going to do today is I'm going to get out of Les Paul and we're going to recreate a very data-proved rig of a Les Paul into the Klon, into my 1959 hand-wired Marshall. And we're going to give this thing a go. My clean tone is not going to be clean

 So, what do I think? Honestly, for 190 bucks, this thing is one of the best sounding overdrive pedals I have ever plugged into. Real talk. Now, full disclosure, this is not a sponsored video. I am not associated with Ryra at all

 So let me put the output down on the Ryra and try and achieve, what do they call that? I can't remember what they call it, the same level. So now I've put the Ryra output down, so now when I click between no Ryra and Ryra, it'll at least be the same level. So here is no pedal, just the amp.  To me, that's what the Klon is doing. It's taking your already good sound, and it's putting a crust, a lovely crust over the top that you can crunch and break through with your pick. So there you go, that's my way of explaining what I'm feeling with the Ryra. But I've got quite a lot of great pedals now, but I'm really happy with it
