Flagship stick vacuum - almost time to cut the cord

 I've also had no issues with the dyeing or not working and I use it once a week. It may look gross, but it still works like new. Not only that, using the Dyson is super easy. Just let it charge, put the attachment you want, and that's it

 It's light, portable, and you can use it in the car or use it to grab some spider webs up high. The trigger is also very easy to press and hold and I can probably do it with my pinky finger. Attaching and changing. The cleaner head is also super easy

 So what makes the Dyson so expensive? First, the quality is amazing, Second, it's easy to maintain, and third, well, it sucks literally for the size, it cleans extremely well on all types of surfaces with fade free suction. The brush head that comes with the Dyson is made of carbon fiber bristles that dig deep and suck dirt and debris from the carpet. It also comes with various attachments and a charging dock. With the V10, you can easily switch between different modes based on the type of surface you're cleaning to save battery life

 To clean the filter, you simply twist it off and run it under water and let it air dry. As far as durability goes, I've dropped this bad boy so many times I can't even count. Just bought a Miele C3, couple questions

I bought his vacuum just over 4 months ago and it has sadly been disappointing overall.  The suction power and battery life are fine, but it requires cleaning at least twice, most often three times, every time I use it. My house is 1800sqft and I can't get through an entire pass without having to brush (with a toothbrush) the side port above the diaphragm of the waste bin and the connections to the attachments. The filter needs to be washed much more often (about every 2 uses) than the manufacturer says

  Although the Abolute V10 is great on tiny dirt particles (have never had a vacuum as good as the Absolute v10 on this score) the rolling head attachment doesn't pick up small objects, like fragments of a dried onion skin or a shred of paper or the occasional dead fly. It just pushes them around.  I am disabled and I bought the Dyson (this is my first one) because the lightweight, wireless features looked like they would be a step up from the standard, heavier vacuum with a cord that is a tripping hazard. The Absolute V10 is light weight and not having a cord is super

Another thing (in case anyone still wants to buy a cordless vacuum), you definitely want to think about height when buying one of these

 Plus, I really wanted this for stairs.  Battery life: I can't vacuum one floor of my house without the battery dying. And it's not like a cordless drill where you can just swap in a second batter. You have to wait and charge it before you can finish vacuuming

The worst vacuum I've ever owned

 It doesn't seem that noisy to me. That's been a complaint of some, but I don't think it's significantly noisier than our corded vacuum. The bad: It hardly finishes our 22x22 living room before running out of juice. We use it on the highest power setting, which uses power much more quickly, but who wants to use a lower setting on carpet or rugs? So, to vacuum seven rooms with carpet it uses three charges

 While it picks up a lot of stuff, the power head (the part with the rotating brush) doesn't seem to have nearly the power of our corded vacuum. Lastly, for this price you'd think it'd come with some sort of wall handing device. No. Be prepared to pay a lot for a decent hanging station for this - and have to have an outlet close by (you probably don't have an outlet in your closet)

 Very disappointed that such an expensive vacuum would break so quickly. It still operates, but at some point that gasket will break more and the performance of the vacuum will suffer. Maybe it's time for a Roomba?
