Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Canister vs Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G

Not as advertised! There is NO hepa filter with this model 3670g!!! Product details states it does and Q/A response from Eureka also… IT DOES NOT!!! Very misleading. Target should correct this ASAP

The canister Max Fill is about half what the upright's was, so I need to empty it twice per use rather than once - no biggie. I like that the dirt/hair/debris all finds its way to the bottom of the canister so emptying it is quick and tidy. I'm startled by how much dirt/dust/hair/fur/debris this baby picked up (I vacuumed the place with the old Dyson just 3 days ago, yet the canister was full - twice (of course, I haven't cleaned the upright's filter recently))! I'm delighted with how clean the brush head is afterward! I appreciate that the head is more maneuverable than the upright's in getting into smaller spaces, and the articulating handle makes it even easier! I like the trigger for releasing suction - very handy! I love the quieter sound. I love the two-headed attachment that's a brush and a crevice tool in one

Not too hard to push around, there was a little resistance but way better than my old one. It seemed to do an incredibly well job at cleaning the carpet, I could tell a second pass through would have been pointless.

Also, the tiny plastic protrusion off the canister lid that is supposed to click into place after emptying and shutting the lid is mega flimsy. Unbelievably sub-par for a Dyson. I'd expect more from the market leader. After several vacuums in my house (I went from an Electrolux Ultrasilencer for all bare floors a few years ago, which worked great for that purpose, to a Shark liftaway upright in mostly carpet, which was ok, but heavy and broke after 3 years, then I had an Electrolux Corded Ultra Flex, which is an awesome vacuum, but has the stupidest design for their dirt canister that one could possibly come up with and now I had it and bought this expensive Dyson) I am settling for this thing

Funnily enough, your Eureka managed to outlive the actual Eureka company that got bought out in 2016. Sounds like you've taken good care of that little vacuum!

The suction is the same as my Shark Rocket with a clean filter. It get's stuck on corners and I have to manually move it. The tools that come with it aren't that great. When I empty the bin the door sometimes don't latch and I have to force it to lock in position

This vacuum performs remarkably well on flat, even surfaces like hardwood, linoleum, or tile floors. While it has a rather basic floorhead that lacks an air-driven turbo brush or even a motorized electrobrush, you can extend or retract the floorhead's bristles just in case you want to clean any small rugs or carpets. Suction performance remains consistent as its dustbin fills up, so you shouldn't need to replace it too frequently.

It does have powerful suction for hardwood, carpet, and rugs. I will give it a couple of weeks to see if it is worth keeping. I will update​ my findings.

You may need to remove (cut out) the protective cover on the blower port to gain volume of air.

Now when I press detach I hold the bottom lid carefully so it doesn’t spill over.beaodes that the accessories are more than enough and overall looks fantastic and the self balancing and longer retractable cord are a plus. I don’t know if my canister is malfunctioning but I rather give it a five.

The hose is made of thinner plastic than I'm used to so you have to keep that in mind as you use the vacuum as it can and will kink. There's a replacement hose that you can eventually get, though, and its reviews indicated it has better quality than the original. I like the idea of being able to readily find replacement parts and the simplicity of the design of this vacuum. Changing the bag is super easy, I like that it doesn't have a cord rewind cuz those never really work very well (or at least for very long), and it's nice and small for storage

Haven't had this vacuum very long, so I'm still getting used to it, but so far I love how easy it is to maneuver and the suction is beyond what I expected. I have always had Electrolux vacuums in the past and this is so much easier to maneuver and clean. I really like not having to deal with bags. It's very user friendly!!!

My biggest complaint is that the cord is too short. I have to stop vacuuming and re-plug the vacuum four times just to do my upstairs living area. Plus it is not recommended to use an extension cord with this machine. Next, it takes quite a bit of effort to move the carpet attachment back and forth over the carpet

Unfortunately, this vacuum's power cord is very short, so you'll probably need to swap outlets when vacuuming a larger area. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Very expensive vacuum, gently and carefully used. By the way, there ARE filters, just none that you can reach and clean. But Somebody has to reach and clean them

To that point - things you might want: 1) HEPA filter. The same HEPA filter that fits on the "Pet" version of this vac fits this one. They're the same basic unit. It snaps over the exhaust

This is by far the noisiest one I have ever owned. I do like that there is no filter, but make sure it is in the closed position when you are through empting it or the next time you pull it off to empty it you will have a mess to clean up. It only happened to me once and now I make sure it is closed.
