Build Quality

A Beautiful Set, Feels Great in the Hands

I bought this set for a KBD67 MKII to get a clean retro feel. The keycaps shipped in a box with individual trays housing the keycaps. The set is very diverse for a base set, it covers a lot of layouts, but that is to be expected for a set of this price. Onto the quality! These are endgame level keycaps, and you can see that from the colors and feel it through the textures

That said, the Kensington nails the details. There are a lot of little things that go into making this style of ergo keyboard work well, and the Pro Fit Ergo Wireless has them. The keys near the center of the board that border the split are all different sizes, which keeps the sides even and makes it easier to keep track of the layout. The feet are under the near side of the keyboard, rather than the far side, creating a reverse tilt where the keyboard meets your wrists

These are mighty fine keys !!!!

I've reversed the spacebar keys and the 'lower' and 'raise' key-this feels way more natural and comfortable on my thumbs. I want the entire bottom row to be that way, but then the legends would be upside down. I'll likely make my own blank keys to substitute those keys later on. I think these are a good deal here on Amazon, as they sell for more on other vendors

Awesome caps BUT

I really like these caps. They look and feel great! They only reason for 3 stars is that the description says that they are compatible with the DROP SHIFT keyboard. While technically you get all the keys, there are no del, home, end, pgup, pgdn keys for R0. Instead they are all R2 keys and kinda silly looking and feeling for an otherwise amazing set

Serious keyboard issues

All too often I see words with missing characters as there is sometimes a delay and characters get missed. Occasionally, I have to just keep pressing a key waiting for the keyboard to begin typing. Love the mouse, buy it as a stand alone product. Skip the keyboard

Design

Great keycap set but want to give a 4.5 star

The quality of this set is great for sure, but with a design flaw. I'm using 65% and 96% layout custom keyboard, since this set is made in SA profile, it has big diff. in the height among rows, several functional key on my keyboards does not have adjustable keycaps with correct height, such as HOME END DEL. I know in the normal full and 80% layout, those keys set on the second and third rows, but with a compact layout, you may customize and program your keys

Ok ergo keyboard and mouse

I don't think I have large hands, but when I pistol-grip the mouse (as expected with an ergo mouse) my finger tips basically hang over the mouse and using the scroll wheel is not convenient as I have to bend my finger back a lot. -Mouse size issue 2 - While the mouse is comfortable to hold, with my pointer finger on the left click button, middle finger on the right click button (as with a traditional mouse), my pinky and ring fingers are squished together and drag along the desk surface. I think this is due to the small size of the mouse and how large the buttons are. -Mouse design - it's not as ergo as I was hoping
