  Topre is a switch which provides a pronounced bump at reasonable actuation forces: 45g and 55g. Halo clears being a 60g actuation with a 78g bottom out force makes it very tiring to type on. I am a person who likes to bottom out as they type, especially coming from Topre which has a very satisfying bottom out sound and feel to compliment its tactility.  When I type on Halo Clears, its a very forceful and tiring experience for me as I am attempting to bottom out but am circumvented by the spring force alone

 I wanted my new keyboard to be wireless, look great, and be compatible with Mac. I also wanted a keyboard that felt great to type on. I remember being in college in the 90s and typing on computers that had very satisfying clicky keyboards. I wanted to find a keyboard that could make typing fun again

I wanted to share my impressions of the Anne Pro 2, and I am writing this review on the Anne Pro 2 because this keyboard is truly a pleasure to type on. If you want the short version of the review you can stop reading here. If you want more information, read on.  First a little backstory of how I ended up with this keyboard

 The Anne Pro 2 seemed to check all my boxes, so I ordered one.  The keyboard arrived yesterday and here are my initial impressions. The keyboard has impressive build quality and is much heavier than expected. Even though the keyboard has a plastic frame this thing is solid! Typing on the keyboard is a joy

 Since I am now spending more time than ever at home in front of the computer I decided I wanted a new keyboard. I always had a passing interest in mechanical keyboards so I started doing research on them. I wanted my new keyboard to be wireless, look great, and be compatible with Mac.  Overall the looks and hardware for the price I'd give it a 5/5 starts but there are slight issues with software as nice as it is.  The software is a little buggy, especially with audio lighting and using the board bluetooth which that is a big feature for why some of you would want this product. And on the Pros side the rgb configuration is very very solid and most importantly creating function layers and defining keys for this board through the software for me is why I give it the rating I do

BUT, it is a great rgb board if you like that it's just not for my case but not bad by any means.  I can pair it with my iPhone Ipad and Mac via Bluetooth and switch seamlessly between the 3 devices (even while the USB is connected to the keyboard.) something the keychron k2 cannot do.)  Aesthetics and Build Quality.  The keyboard is well built, sturdy and premium, and if you want to travel it isn't extremely heavy
