 The space bar is probably the loudest, and this is a great time to jump into our sound test. So yeah drop did ditch a few of their features that really distinguish their boards from other companies, aka hot swap qmk and rgb everywhere. Sort of sucks that those are gone in this board, but if you're someone who's looking for that real, simple sleek, look, it's pretty minimal! This isn't a bad board to look at at all. It'S got a high quality case design

 Anything put in savings, invest, buy yourself, lunch do good stuff. Okay, don't get coffee, though, make it yourself: [, Music, ], bye, [, Music, ], [, Music ], you 

 Two at the very bottom and two that are sort of built into the kickstands, so without the kickstands open, the keyboard is gon na slide, just a little bit side to side with the kickstands flipped out on your board. You got that nice angle, but you also have more rubber feet to prevent you from sliding on the top left. You'Ll see that you have your usbc port and if you do want to make this fancier pair it with a budget coil cable, you can check out right here the bottom. You also see that the aluminum isn't a hard angle, but rather it curves with the case making it a really sleek and clean

 We have a plastic top plate that is colored either the green, the black or the white there's a bit of weight to the keyboard as well, which is nice, but unfortunately, when the feet are collapsed, the keyboard does slide around the surface. So when you do extend them, which angles the keyboard nicely, you have a lot more stability. The keycaps are double shot. Ppt with that beautiful, clean font, and i do appreciate the texture contrast between the keycaps and the matte texture of the top plastic plate

 What will fit in your space, the yellowish illumination. I think that's going to be a massive turn off for maybe a lot of people just because what we're told is white illumination. What we see is yellow. They did a good job with the build quality having that massive aluminum plate, underneath that gives the body weight character, despite some imperfections between the top plastic plate and the aluminum having no drivers is also a positive in my book, since you have nothing to customize on The keyboard anyway and the last the turn for the drop enter keyboard would be your location because i see a lot of people complaining of trying to buy something from drop, but the shipping prices outside of north america plus customs fees to ship to europe, for example, Are extremely high, therefore, it makes you want to buy something locally, while the 89 price point is attractive by the time you add all the shipping charges and all the custom stuff you might as well pick something that is just as premium from your local retailer, so That is the drop enter keyboard if you've been looking for a budget alternative to the control keyboard

 The usbc connection is on both left and right for your convenience, and the rgb illumination is second to none is absolutely gorgeous not just on the switches but surrounding the entire perimeter of the body. Illuminating the keyboard and the surface. Combine that with firmware customization, making this the perfect tql keyboard so when they announce the drop enter tkl keyboard, which is supposed to aim for that budget territory at more than half the price of the control at 89. I got excited and i really want to check it out

The Perfect TKL Keyboard Under $100?

 This keyboard might just be the sweet spot between I am just starting out and I want to be a keyboard enthusiast. So jumping straight into the unboxing experience, it basically comes in this really high quality brown box like many other Drop keyboards before this. And when you open up the box, you're basically going to get this pamphlet that basically gives you like a warranty information. It gives you a getting started guide, and it also gives you like a list of function layers basically on things that you can do like media controls and so on with this keyboard

 Besides that, you also get a wired keycap pillar and that's about everything you get in the box with this keyboard. Now, coming in at $90, I am not mad about the accessories that they included in the box with this. Speaking about the physical bits of the keyboard itself, like I said before, it's anodized aluminum and it actually feels great. Although I was a little surprised that this keyboard had about the same amount of flex as my higher quality plastic keyboards

 These are dye-sublimated double-shot PBT keycaps and they feel nice so you don't have to worry about getting shine-true or some sort of clipping or cutting with your keycaps over time because this is going to last you a very long time. Now, while my board actually came with the charcoal and grey keycaps, the smaller box the job actually sent me contained the black versions of these keycaps and they actually looked really nice as well. Although, I've not actually bothered to use them because I really like this charcoal and grey combination. I think it looks good with the green so I might be sticking with it

 I also like the fact that this keyboard is backlit but it's not RGB. Now, the backlighting is not completely white. It does feel like the white balance has shifted a little bit but honestly, for the color green board that I actually got, I kind of like it. It kind of accentuates this

+The keyboard base is very very solidly constructed. It is very heavy and appears durable.

 I will throw a bone here, as at least the letters are not painted on, but transparent and backlit so at least the lettering will not fade.

- The one major critique for this keyboard is the keycaps. They are extremely light, slightly sharper around the edges of the keys than would be desirable. Further, I clean all of my hardware with isopropyl alcohol before and after use, as can be seen in my included images merely a single instance of this cleaning is stripping the paint off them. While I do think this keyboard is a great platform to start off with some minor keyboard modding, I'd recommend anyone who buys it either also buy a new set of keycaps, or to plan to do so down the road should the paint start to strip from daily use

Drop ENTR mechanical, Green+Yellow Switches

 Now i want to give you my first thoughts or not impressions again, my first thoughts when i was looking at this keyboard online right, the drop ender before i received them, i'm looking at a line, so i see the metal aluminum plate in the bottom and i See this kind of thinner plastic layer up top right there you know so i'm kind of like it looks kind of cheap again. Looking online, i said, that's going to be a lightweight flexi keyboard right there again, i think the biggest turn off was that plastic uh layer on the top right there. But let me tell you what i was 110 percent wrong. First, impressions actually taking this board out of the box holy smokes

 Taurus k320 fantastic board also love this one. I believe you can only get this guy in cherry switches um. If i'm thinking right it comes with the pbt keycaps. Now these keycaps i got on here are custom

 Looking at the white, the black and the green like, can we just call out the green while we're at it? Maybe it's just me, but this thing is hideous. The green case looks cool, but the keycaps on top of it, in my opinion, ruin it. I think the keycap should have been black and these gray ones should went on the blackboard. That'S my personal preference right there now

 You know what i mean at 109: bucks that really shines, but again we're talking 20 bucks cheaper. So in the world of keyboards or tech in general or heck, i guess life in general. You know what i mean. We can always say: oh man

SOLID VALUE - Drop ENTR Mechanical Keyboard Review

This keyboard is not what I've come to expect from Drop. The keystrokes are very harsh and clacky, the switches are not hot swappable, the lights are not even white like advertised - they are closer to a warm like like 5300k or something. The keycaps feel cheap and more what I expect to be on a Logitech G Pro but honestly, for the money - get yourself a logitech G Pro or similar - it will be a better experience in terms of UI and control. The drop keyboard is limited on features and tough to improve this platform due to the soldered keyswitches

Don't buy this expecting a boutique or DIY keyboard experience

 It looks a lot like the drop control, but a few things were taken out so that it won't cost as much. This is a 90 fully built mechanical keyboard, let's not really get into the customization part here, because it's already soldered and because i already started that's the first thing: that's different from the drop control, no hot swap also there's no rgb, so the drop control has the Side glow, as well as the perky. This only has perky white leds, no rgb. So if you really want that gamer set, you got to chuck a little more dough to get the drop control or maybe go into other keyboards

 There has been an argument that this is a rebranded version of a chinese keyboard which it is because that's what these companies do, they buy them, they revamp it with their software. They add leds or something like that. So this right here has leds. It has the drop software for controls using the function you can increase and lower the per key led brightness and they put on the key cast from drop

 In this board. I like the fact that it's aluminum bottom, so it feels a little bit more quality. It has a perky leds, so you can see in the dark. But what do i not like as a custom mechanical keyboard enthusiast? I cannot pretend that this sounds good for the standards of an enthusiast that expects their keyboard to sound like asmr videos

 I really like this switch, but i actually like it more lube in the stock form. It'S a little bit scratchy, but at least it has a good, sound signature. The halo, true is a tactile, switch. Think of it as an elevated mx brown between mx brown and ergo, clear, unfortunately, tactile switches tend to have a lot of leaf ping, and you can hear right here

 I ordered the "Clicky" (satisfying click) blue switches, a decision I do not regret but one I thought would be more satisfying. The low profile keys, short stroke and lackluster click add up to a less than stellar typing feel. My generic mechanical keyboard from 5 years ago still clicks the crap out of this MX, talk about satisfying. I was hoping this keyboard would solve the multiple keyboard workspace issue I have but after plugging in the wireless MX and putting it through it's paces, I never ended up unplugging "Old Clunky"

 However, since I have had 4 devices hooked up (Mac Mini, Mac Book Pro, iPad and Win 10 PC) I would like to have 1 more slot for immediate usage. To be fair, the ability to drop / add a new device on the fly is so easy that 3 slots is more than reasonable. So as far as hitting all the bullet points on the product description list, the Wireless MX Mechanical keyboard does so in dependable Logitech fashion.  While the basics are met, there were some expectations that were not
