Drop + Matt3o MT3 vs GMK Apollo

I know Drop has some keycap sets, Gloriouspcgaming has some, aliexpress, banggood. If you’re willing to wait a long time then look into Gmk, ePbt, KAT etc groupbuys.

I have a Space80:Apollo and the GMK Apollo keycap set. That keycap needs my board. It's a win-win situation

Coming from someone who has never tried any high-profile keycaps, this set definitely feels unusual. I am a pretty quick typer, at around 160+ WPM and I depend on dragging my fingers across the keyboard. Because the caps are very tall, it makes this particularly inconvenient. I wouldn't buy a set based on how fast it will make you type, but this is just a heads up for anyone wondering

Didn't end up using the whole set. Keys feel rougher then my last keycaps. Does not include any kind of function key which was kind of a bummer. Sounds a little more hollow then my other keys but I like the novelty keys and wish there were more for each row of the keyboard

The sculpt and texture of these are excellent, they remind me of the old IBM beamsprings, but even more well crafted. One note. Since these don't let backlight through, special interations like your capslock/numlock keys being engaged won't reflect through these. Not a big gripe just something to be mindful of

Edit Feb 2022. Hello, editing this review because the vendor went above and beyond to resolve this issue. This keycap set is pretty and the matter of the offset prints was resolved with the new set, the print is clear and crisp. The colour scheme and design in the photos are delightful

The color was also a bit disappointing. It's not quite like the renders used as the product pics.

The coloring looks great. I enjoy typing on them, they sound very good with lubed switches, great purchase. Happy i decided to go with this seller!
