I have had a large digit LED clock near my TV for several years, but that clock was very complicated to update due not being intuitive and to having numerous features that I never needed (day, date, year, 2 time zones, etc). Changing from Standard to Daylight time usually ended up taking a half hour and created a lot of frustration. I finally threw that clock in the garbage, and ordered this "DreamSky Compact Digital Alarm Clock" from Amazon. I decided on this clock as a result of reading numerous reviews that said it was easy to set - and it is! Setting it the first time took just seconds, and that is without even looking at the included instructions

 This clock is good looking and compact. I especially like the continuously variable brightness level you set with an analog rotary dial. Overall verdict: This clock is a winner!

 Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar. hold and press alarm set and we're using this time indicator down here. So I'm waking up at 6 00 am

 So to change the time, all we do is hold and press time, set the first button as this flashes see the minus and plus buttons, just press them as appropriate. Say I'm on the hour, press it again, time set and it goes to minutes and again minus or plus. Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar

 It takes three batteries, it has indoor temperature and to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, you just press right there. See now it's 86 degrees Fahrenheit. I can increase this a little bit. You can switch that back and forth right there

 Originally purchased November 2019. This was my review then. The time display was much bigger than what I wanted. Recently my cable company forced me to upgrade to a different cable box - the old one had a digital time display - the new one DOES NOT

 I am a sensitive to light and noise sleeper. Being able to turn the brightness to super low or off is amazing. I can adjust the alarm as well. Because I wake up at the sound of a mouse farting, being able to turn the sound low to allow my husband to sleep is great

 Really really nice display, right? Very, very cool looking clock. A couple other things that are really cool about this particular alarm clock is that it has two Usb ports. So you get two Usb ports in the front here that you can use to charge your phone and stuff like that. and that's really cool

 Watch this. Dark bright. So if you're one of those people that has a problem sleeping with like lights on in the room, the dimmer feature back here is really really nice and really convenient. Some people have a hard time with anything bright in the room, so in theory you could just dim it, which is a really, really nice feature

 I'm very sensitive to light at night, this thing is just too bright. If I dim it to an acceptable level then it's unreadable. PLEASE make a version with red LEDs and I'll buy 4 of them.

 Rather than blasting you with sound when the alarm is triggered, it raises the volume slowly, which is much appreciated. The controls and display are well laid out and the display brightness is adjustable. This is a nicely designed product that I'm extremely happy with.

This clock radio is outstanding

 This one can be turned right down and it’s not bright red or green, but a nice grayish white. 😊 . I might just buy another for the spare room and for my side of the bed! I like it!
