I have had a large digit LED clock near my TV for several years, but that clock was very complicated to update due not being intuitive and to having numerous features that I never needed (day, date, year, 2 time zones, etc). Changing from Standard to Daylight time usually ended up taking a half hour and created a lot of frustration. I finally threw that clock in the garbage, and ordered this "DreamSky Compact Digital Alarm Clock" from Amazon. I decided on this clock as a result of reading numerous reviews that said it was easy to set - and it is! Setting it the first time took just seconds, and that is without even looking at the included instructions

 This clock is good looking and compact. I especially like the continuously variable brightness level you set with an analog rotary dial. Overall verdict: This clock is a winner!

 Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar. hold and press alarm set and we're using this time indicator down here. So I'm waking up at 6 00 am

 So to change the time, all we do is hold and press time, set the first button as this flashes see the minus and plus buttons, just press them as appropriate. Say I'm on the hour, press it again, time set and it goes to minutes and again minus or plus. Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar

 It takes three batteries, it has indoor temperature and to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, you just press right there. See now it's 86 degrees Fahrenheit. I can increase this a little bit. You can switch that back and forth right there

 I am a sensitive to light and noise sleeper. Being able to turn the brightness to super low or off is amazing. I can adjust the alarm as well. Because I wake up at the sound of a mouse farting, being able to turn the sound low to allow my husband to sleep is great

The Travelwey Digital Travel is a barebones alarm where the display cover hinges out to become the unit's stand. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries and has a minimal footprint on the nightstand. Both the time and alert are easy to set, and the snooze is repeatable. 
While we like the simplicity of the Travelwey, it lacks almost every feature offered by the competition. For example, the alarm won't charge your phone, the snooze interval isn't adjustable, and it lacks a radio. Moreover, the alarm volume and tone are both fixed, and it lacks the memory for more than one alarm at a time. While that might seem too simplistic, it is just what those traveling light need and no more.

The perfect travel clock.

 (I haven't used it for travel yet.)  The clock is very nicely designed and easy to use. When switched to "off" and with the lid shut, pressing the light button won't do anything, so you can put it in your luggage or your pocket without the battery wearing down. Then when you switch it "on" again, it's already showing the right time
