I have had a large digit LED clock near my TV for several years, but that clock was very complicated to update due not being intuitive and to having numerous features that I never needed (day, date, year, 2 time zones, etc). Changing from Standard to Daylight time usually ended up taking a half hour and created a lot of frustration. I decided on this clock as a result of reading numerous reviews that said it was easy to set - and it is! Setting it the first time took just seconds, and that is without even looking at the included instructions

 This clock is good looking and compact. I especially like the continuously variable brightness level you set with an analog rotary dial. Overall verdict: This clock is a winner!

 Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar. hold and press alarm set and we're using this time indicator down here. So I'm waking up at 6 00 am

 Simple and uncluttered, easy to read from across the room, and the alarm does the job it's supposed to. There's a spot for a 9-volt battery backup, which will certainly come in handy the next time any pesky storms interrupt power.  In this world where every digital gadget is supposed to be do 87 different things, I like this simple machine. I don't need it to be a radio, I don't need a docking station, and I don't need USB ports or Bluetooth capabilities

 That way, whether setting the alarm, or even the time, you just have to move the switch all the way up for lock. There's no trying to make sure the switch is in the middle position and it's not pushed a little too far. If it were pushed a little too far (into the time set position (all the way up)), one would never know it, as there would be nothing to indicate so. It's just a bad design with the switch layout
