I have had a large digit LED clock near my TV for several years, but that clock was very complicated to update due not being intuitive and to having numerous features that I never needed (day, date, year, 2 time zones, etc). Changing from Standard to Daylight time usually ended up taking a half hour and created a lot of frustration. I finally threw that clock in the garbage, and ordered this "DreamSky Compact Digital Alarm Clock" from Amazon. I decided on this clock as a result of reading numerous reviews that said it was easy to set - and it is! Setting it the first time took just seconds, and that is without even looking at the included instructions

 This clock is good looking and compact. I especially like the continuously variable brightness level you set with an analog rotary dial. Overall verdict: This clock is a winner!

 Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar. hold and press alarm set and we're using this time indicator down here. So I'm waking up at 6 00 am

 So to change the time, all we do is hold and press time, set the first button as this flashes see the minus and plus buttons, just press them as appropriate. Say I'm on the hour, press it again, time set and it goes to minutes and again minus or plus. Very very simple setting. The alarm is very similar

 It takes three batteries, it has indoor temperature and to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, you just press right there. See now it's 86 degrees Fahrenheit. I can increase this a little bit. You can switch that back and forth right there

 I am a sensitive to light and noise sleeper. Being able to turn the brightness to super low or off is amazing. I can adjust the alarm as well. Because I wake up at the sound of a mouse farting, being able to turn the sound low to allow my husband to sleep is great

While simplicity is nice, so too is having a highly customizable alarm that eases you awake as opposed to shocking you into consciousness. The Jall Wake Up Light Sunrise alarm specializes in gentle alerts. The clock offers 7 light settings that slowly brighten over a customizable period before the alarm sounds. The alarm settings range from bird sounds to soft music to a more traditional beeping, and the volume is adjustable. The text brightness is also adjustable. 
Unfortunately, this alarm requires quite a bit of fiddling to get it all set up with your preferences. For example, you must first set time, then ringtone, then volume, then wake-up brightness, then how long to simulate the sunrise — oh yeah, and don't forget the color of the light. That said, it's really not that tough; it's just a lot more work than the competition. Once customized to your liking, it is straightforward to use and can make mornings all the more pleasant.

 It is dark and cold and even the most gentle alarm from my phone would jarr me awake. I have had this alarm for about 2 weeks now and it is the dead of winter and I have woken up feeling refreshed every morning, which translates to more energy and focus throughout my day.  I have mine set for 20 minutes and I typically read a paper book as the blue light from screens is counter-productive. Once I stop being able to easily read that is usually about when my body is drifting towards sleep. It finished darkening while I snuggle fully into bed and off I go to dreamland.  It does have the ability to change the color of the light but the default works just fine for me

  I really like the design. It is simple and minimal - something I am slowly transitioning more of my life towards. It was also really easy to set up. Those reviews saying it was too hard and giving it a bad review obviously didn't read the instructions

 Green and it also has a blue light [Music] Yeah so that's pretty cool. Um you can also just use it as a radio if you want to and you can also use it as white noise at night and it sets the timer to like 30 minutes. I'm sure there's a way you can change that so that's pretty cool. It's multifunctional

 So this shows 30 minutes. so say you set your alarm for like 5, 30 then 30 minutes before it will start having the light go off and it will get brighter and brighter as you get closer to your time for your alarm. and you can set different times on there like 30 minutes, 20 minutes or 10 minutes. You can also just use this as like a lamp on your nightstand if you want so it has different lights that you can pick at different intensities

 Every winter's nightmare mornings. So, this winter I decided to look for a Sunrise Alarm to bring some, albeit artificial, light into my midwinter mornings.  This unit is a complete success. We've been using it for a few weeks, and while I don't always wake up to the light, which we have on a soft light setting, and a 10 minute 'sunrise' interval, I'm no longer startled awake from a deep sleep in the blackness of the morning

 Seamless transitions between the different light levels. The light levels are also adjustable by function (alarms & sleep.) The wake-up light turns itself off after 15 minutes, which is convenient, as by then we have the nightstand light on, and a cup of coffee to quietly start our morning.  YES you can easily turn the alarm sounds OFF! My husband already has his tablet programmed to wake us up with different original songs every morning, so I was only looking for the graduated light feature

 30 minutes for it to go from low to bright. Now we've got the different colors going. It cycles through seven different colors I'm not sure how well you can see them here. Went from green to blue and we're changing again

 It's difficult to see on a phone. There we go to pink so you can cycle through the different colors. When you have the sunrise set, it takes about 30 minutes to go from dim to bright. Let's see, then we're off again

 There we go. Okay, so how'd you see it can scan and actually when it does get a decent channel, when this antenna is up somewhere, it sounds pretty good. Now let's go for the light. There we go

This is a very unique style of Clock, and it’s great to wake up to. My only regret is that I wish you had more control over the wake up noises. It gives you lots of options, but they repeat very quickly, and it’s not quite as peaceful a waking up process as you would think because of the quick repetition. Overall great product
