The Dockers Slim Fit Workday Khaki is a comfortable office pant that is just as much at home at a backyard bbq as it is at your daily 9-5. Made from a stretch cotton blend, these pants are minimally restrictive despite their slimmer cut. Although these still fall into the category of slim fit, our testers found them to straddle the line between slim and straight. They're more relaxed fitting than the tight-fitting Rhone Commuter pants but by no means baggy. If you're seeking for a modern-looking office pant that isn't too tight, these are a great choice. 
While these perform well in moderate climates, hot weather will not be your friend while wearing these slacks. We found the fabric was thick and less breathable than we wanted. These pants are versatile and stylish enough to wear to any semi-formal affair.

 They both held up well sitting in an office setting and also doing yard work. No holes in the bottom of the pockets even though I stuff a decent number of keys in there every day. No ripped, loose, pulled or otherwise missing threads, and no arbitrary holes in weird places, even when drying on a “normal” or high heat setting. No tearing or fraying at the hemline, either

  Other than the shrinking, these are the best pants I’ve ever owned. For what it’s worth (and maybe it’s not worth very much), I’m buying another few pairs, but buying them oversized to compensate for expected shrinkage.

Exceptional build quality, but shrinks significantly

  The fabric of the pants is a soft cotton (I think), relaxed and comfortable, and the legs aren't too baggy but they are spacious. The waist doesn't have an expandable panel so although these are described as "stretch" they really just have a little give in the fabric, not much. If you want an expandable waist for comfortable sitting these will not work. The length of he legs is good, if only the cuffs didn't hold them up too high

Very Narrow Cuff, Too Tapered

5 inches, these pants fit at the natural waist which means around the belly at about the level of the umbilicus, while leaving ample ease in the seat and upper thighs. The stretchy waistband makes them fit, but give as needed, and the fabric in general has enough stretch that I don't feel as if the material migh just burst open after being stressed a few times. These pants fit a man who isn't just big in the belly, but also has large thighs. So often these days it seems they cut pants for men with noodle legs, not these! Material quality appears first rate, the zipper is long and moves without binding

Above a certain girth it becomes nearly impossible to find quality pants that fit well, and allow freedom of movement without binding, or just feeling "wrong." I'm happy to report this brand in 60x32 fit absolutely perfectly for this 5'10" man. When I say perfectly, I mean perfect for the fact that I expected the 32 inch inseam to be too long, but that was the size choice for the waist. After hemming 2

Finally Some Decent Pants!

These are about average "dress" khakis, but upon their arrival I discovered two major design flaws.  First, there is a ridiculous zippered pocket on the right leg seam, just behind the main pocket.  Why anyone would design a pair of pants with this feature is beyond me.  It is useless, unless perhaps you're worried about someone stealing your pocket change! Unnecessary, ugly, and not clearly shown in the pictures on the web site

Design flaws ruin these pants

These dockers feel great and are very comfortable but sadly, they shrink horribly!!!. I bought 7 pairs of these total. The first 3 pair I bought as my usual size and after just 2 washings, with following all wash and dry instructions have shrunk worse than any pants I have ever bought!! The first (black) pair is now 3" shorter than when purchased and NOT black any more--sort of an off-black-light blackish-gray. Weird! I don't wear them now

 So anyway, I bought 2 more pair that are 2" larger in the waist at same length and 2 pair that are 2" longer in length but usual waist size. These too are starting to all shrink as well in length! I even dry these on "air fluff - no heat" setting and they are still shrinking! Wash all these in COLD water as well. Very disappointed in Dockers. I don't recommend these unless you want super tight; high-water pants or want to convert them to cut-off shorts

For as long as I've worn Dockers, the testimony is always the same:  As long as they're Dockers and they're some shade of khaki, they're gonna be in my closet!  Perfect for work and the neutral color works with almost any color shirt.  Love the wrinkle-free and easy care.  Have worn them every day for more than 10 years!

Yes. The amount of hours I have spent in these pants tells me not only that my WFH situation impacts my choice in day-to-day clothing, but that Outlier has knocked it out of the park in finding me my ideal, homey pant.
