 And then we have our Manfrotto style plate, the big one that slides directly on the gimbal. And you'll notice that on this one, this is the RSC 2 plate, there's no teeth on it like we see on the RS 2, not a big deal, just kind of a luxury of the RS 2 I guess, but yeah everything else is the same between those two plates. Right here we have our tripod, and this is the exact same as the original Ronin SC, so it's made of plastic, still very durable, but plastic as opposed to metal like we see on the RS 2 and the Ronin S. So there we go, that's everything on that side, now let's get to the good part

 Now this is kind of trippy actually looking at this, because obviously normally your battery grip would be separate from the gimbal, but here it's all together, and it fits all in one piece here in this case, so I'm going to unlock that, and we can actually click that in place, tighten it right here, and go ahead and move this case out of the way. Now if we get the RS 2 and the Ronin SC, and we compare these two gimbals together, it feels like the RS C2 is honestly just a complete redesign of the Ronin SC, which makes sense obviously you want the RS C2 to match the RS 2, just kind of be a lower tier version of the RS 2, because honestly the Ronin SC has always felt a little bit flimsy to me, just not the most sturdy gimbal in the world, Parker even said it felt like a toy when he held it last year for the first time, so glad they got away with that, I don't think we need to focus on the differences between these two because clearly the RS C2 is better, but between these two new gimbals right here, we can point out a few differences, first thing I notice is the RS C2 doesn't have those RS A ports that we see on the Ronin S2, it is still a NATO rail, so you could mount a handle or the briefcase handle that comes with the RS 2 if you wanted to, the RS C2 also has the focus wheel that we see on the RS 2, it has locking mechanisms, strangely enough the RS C2 has the little plate up here that can slide left and right, as well as the arm back here that can also slide left and right, and if you remember on my RS 2 video, I was kind of disappointed because you couldn't slide your camera left and right up here, even though you could adjust the arm back here, and that was the main reason I couldn't actually balance a red on the RS 2 is because they took away that feature, so I'm kind of confused why they brought it back to the RS C2, but either way it's there, so that helps with balancing just different sized cameras with different weight distributions on the RS C2, another obvious difference between these two gimbals is obviously the displays, so on the RS 2 you have that full color touch screen, and on the RS C2 it's not the best display if I'm being honest, it's kind of pixelated, just a very simple display so you can quickly glance and see your settings, and since it's not touch screen, instead you have to use this little dial right here to adjust and change your settings, so kind of interesting, would have loved a full color touch screen, but obviously having some sort of screen is better than no screen like we saw on the previous Ronin SC, so I can't really complain too much there. On the Ronin SC you could only use tiny little lenses like the RF 35mm, otherwise the eyepiece of your camera would actually hit the back motor, so it was kind of just annoyingly small, but we're obviously all wondering how is the stabilization on the RS C2. Let's go do some tests

DJI RSC 2 - Unboxing & First Impressions!

I have used half a dozen gimbals of various brands and in my experience, none have offered quite the same reliability and performance/stability that DJI’s offerings give. I own both the RSC2 and RS2 and they are easy to use and provide exceptionally stable footage. You might even find these cheaper secondhand, as the RS3 and RS3 Pro are the current generation lineup that’s being sold in stores. Also, consider the type of set up you will be using when on a gimbal

First gimbal DJI RSC 2?

The hardware is well made and overall quite good.  However, the DJI Ronin app requires you to agree to the following:  "DJI reserves the right to review, remove or disable access to user generated content, including photographs and videos in violation of the applicable laws and regulations in China. DJI also welcomes users to report any User Content that is in violation of the applicable laws and regulations."  The implication is that this applies to users in all countries and not just those in the PRC

 Select Super Smooth for even further optimized stabilization. After Super Smooth is enabled, tap to perform autotune again for optimal performance. The stiffness can be adjusted on the autotune screen. Go back to the home screen and select follow mode settings

 First, use the side dial to select autotune, and press to start. The gimbal will automatically adjust its stiffness according to the actual payload to better stabilize footage. Select Super Smooth for even further optimized stabilization. After Super Smooth is enabled, tap to perform autotune again for optimal performance

 Tap the trigger three times, and the gimbal will automatically stop once the camera view is inverted. Repeat to exit 3D roll 360. Thank you for watching.

DJI RSC 2 | How to Use DJI RSC 2

For a newer gimbal from DJI. I was a little hesitant at this purchase. Although their research and development accomplished between this model and the last PAID OFF! This gimbal checks just about every box I need it to for a small, compact, and lightweight package. It’s more than capable of balancing an A7siii with an adapted Sigma 18-35 art

A must have for any beginner filmmaker!

 Just make sure to download the latest firmware which during the initial set up, I was reminded to do so.  All in all, I highly recommend the DJI RSC2 and I'm glad my coworker/fellow enthusiast recommended to me - it's the best gimbal when compared to other models within the same price range. I truly feel this is more of an upgrade to the Ronin S than SC. The performance, functionality, and adaptability is the best in class for this segment and price range

  Additional Positives: The stability, smart functions, and overall performance is legit.  Payload is very good. The composition, durability, and reliability are way better than any camera stabilizer that I have used, especially when compared to the Zhiyun Weebill S.  Stabilization: The stabilization is much better than the gimbals I've used by supporting medium telephoto

.someone get me some coffee if you want me to test this out. However it does support USB-C fast charging so I charge it during lunch breaks and it's suffice to last the rest of the day. (It was completely dead when I charged it over lunch, got me to 50%)  Compatibility: I saw comments saying that some latest camera models have problems with the gimbal but I never experienced this myself

Best Camera Stabilizer in the Market - Lots of features for the money!!

 Only real issue I had with it was that Canon has a flip out screen that you can adjust up and down, only when using the gymbal I found that I couldn't fold the screen out and adjust it so it had to fit stationary on the back of the camera which made for a few issues when shooting outside because of lighting and glare on the screen. Overall, this is an excellent gymbal and every shot was smooth as can be. Only thing I wish it had was a carying case. I highly recommend it, even if you have a heaver camera and lens combo

 The camera and lens combo is heavy, and attached to this gymbal the whole set up is very heavy, but the gymbal itself isn't that heavy at all- but you know you are holding something extremly well made. I now have guns like "the Rock" after carrying this around for a day with my camera and lens attached, but with a smaller camera/lens combo you would have a hard time even noticing the weight of it. The gymbal is very stable and very easy to use. The whole balancing act is somewhat tough when following the directions given, but I found several youtube videos that demonstrate how to balance everything

 I can do this manually with the Zhiyun and use more professional apps instead of Hohem's app. Now, I do miss the iSteady V2 AI sensor but I'll take quality and comfort over the Hohem anyday. I just didn't see the iSteady V2 as being a long term gimbal. For kids, families and TikTok videos I get it, but not for more professional long-term use

 The clamps are absolutely perfect and can hold my phone with the case and most importantly, it's super easy to insert and remove my phone.  The iSteady V2 has got some nice features in the app with Moments but are kind of gimmicky IMO. I can do this manually with the Zhiyun and use more professional apps instead of Hohem's app. Now, I do miss the iSteady V2 AI sensor but I'll take quality and comfort over the Hohem anyday

It's just kind of ho-hem

I have been using this gimbal for the first time in my iohone14pro max and its not at all fitting. The phone is not at all rotating after you fit it in the Gimbal. I tried to call the customer care and sent them emails but nothing is helpful. If you are buying heavy phone like iphone14promax, S22ultra then its a complete No NO guys
