I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 And I have small arms.  I was aggravated and looking for a long sleeved shirt to protect my arms after a short "hike" around my home.  Perhaps on a longer-torso it would fit better?  IMO the hip belt is not strong enough to support a packed weight.  Returned

I chose this backpack for longer day hikes. I really loved the low profile, hidden compression straps and simplicity.  The hidden rainfly in the bottom and inside/outside pockets in the lid are both great features.  Unfortunately, the hip belt is really flimsy, and the adjusters on the shoulder straps rubbed my inner arms precisely at the most annoying spot

I wanted to love it, but the straps!

 I am looking to get into backpacking and will absolutely look into the larger Deuter bags now that I know how comfortable this one is for my size and shape.

I bought this as an upgrade from my Osprey Tempest 20L for winter/shoulder season hikes when I need to carry extra layers/gear, as well as for some upcoming 12+ hour hikes in the Adirondacks when I'll want to carry plenty of food, water, and maybe even a stove. I am apple-shaped at 5ft and 180lbs, and this bag fits so comfortably. I LOVE the AirContact back system - I sweat a ton even on cold days and this provides a bit of "breathing" room for my back. I can load this pack so much that I can barely lift it but once it's on, it feels like someone is hugging me weightlessly

So comfortable

 So I found this to be very comfortable. It'S a 28 litre pack, so it's in that mid range. You can carry smaller loads really easily by cinching down the straps and because it's so lightweight it doesn't feel overbearing if you have a lighter load. But if you need to put more gear inside and even store gear on the outside of the pack, this suspension system can certainly support that

 Deuter is done a really good job of stripping away those features that add a lot of weight to a pack that unnecessary weight here is stripped away and you're left with a really supportive, but also a very light back system. This is an SL pack which stands for slim line and it's more of a women's specific version, so the torso length is a little shorter. The distance between the shoulder straps is a little more narrow. Even the curvature of the shoulder straps are women's specific

Deuter Pace 28 SL Women's Ski/Snow Pack

I used this pack for the first time this past weekend, so I’m still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles. The fit is great-Deuter packs fit me really well. I like the asymmetric style. In other words, there is only one water bottle holder and one hip belt pocket, but in return, you get a long vertical zipper compartment and a mesh holder that I haven’t figured out what to use it for! I like that it is a smaller bag but still has a brain

Stylish and functional

 It has a suitcase-like side access to easily get to things near the bottom of the pack - it helps to have different access sides to put items into. The zipped side pocket is handy to put in things like a map, sunblock, etc; Very quick access. The front stuff pocket was great - easily expandable to fill items like clothing and towels in. I liked the top and inside zipped pockets on the hood - nice for easy-access stuff as well as keeping valuables more hidden

 You do have kind of a lid on this pack.. It is not necessarily a floating lid, but it is adjustable and you have got a nice zipper right on the top here. That is going to allow you access into lighter weight items that you want to get your hands on quickly

. That sternum strap has a little bit of stretch. So, as you are moving doing those aer-obic activities, it is going to allow you to breathe, while also offering that support that you need.

Deuter ACT Trail 28 SL Women's Day Pack

Extremely versatile for a multitude of adventures,
the Deuter ACT Trail 28 Liter SL Pack is perfect

for those outings when you need to pack light,
but you have also got a lot of versatility

in your pack. So it would be great for hiking,
traveling, ski touring or snow shoeing when

you need to bring some things with you during
the day. It would also be a great urban pack.

It has very clean lines and a sleek look for
that. So it is great for all of those adventures,

The first thing to talk about with any pack
is the suspension system, how it keeps you

comfortable and how it carries the load. So
if I turn it around you have got Deuter’s

Air Contact Back System. This is not an adjustable
pack, meaning that the torso size is not necessarily

adjustable, but this is a women’s specific
pack. It is the SL version or slim line version.

So it is going to accommodate torsos from
14 up to 18 inches. And although the shoulder

harness is sewn in here, you can’t adjust
that up and down, you do have some nice load

lifter straps that are going to accommodate
those different torsos. So you can really

adjust that up and down to your preferred
height.

With SL packs with Deuter, you do have a more
narrow shoulder width here. The shoul-der

straps are a little more contoured. So that
just fits smaller frames.

With this Air Contact Back System you have
a lot of padding, padding here on either side,

into the lumbar area of the pack. So it is
really going to sit up off of your pack with

all of that mesh and all of that padding to
keep you comfortable. And then you have this

center chimney in the middle. That chimney
is going to allow warm air to escape. So as

you are hiking as you moving with this pack,
it is going to allow that warm air to escape

and then with that rigid frame behind the
scenes, you are going to be able to carry

Down here on the bottom you can see I have
one side of the hip belt open. You can tuck

this away. I have it tucked away on the other
side. If you are using this as a travel pack

or even an urban pack, you can really tuck
that away if you don’t need to use this

hip belt. But when you take it out, it is
a big enough hip belt here with adjustability

that you are going to be able to transfer
that load to your hips. So with this being

a smaller pack, you don’t need as much of
a hip belt, but that is definitely a great

feature. You can tuck that away when you are
not using it.

This is hydration compatible, so you can get
a two liter hydration system in there. It

is sold separately. You can route it right
here through the middle, but you can route

it to either side. So you have got loops there
and then you do have an adjustable sternum

strap. That sternum strap has a little bit
of stretch, so as you are moving, doing those

aer-obic activities, it is going to allow
you to breathe while also offering that support

While this pack does have a lot of simple
features and clean lines, you do have a lot
