I HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THE EQUATOR SUPER COMBO 4400 washer/dryer

When I couldn't, he seemed frustrated and told me he'd call me another time, which never happened. I called and texted him several times thereafter, plus followed up with the management at Equator in Texas, but neither acknowledged much less returned my messages at all. Frustrated with stacks of dirty clothy needing laundering, I contacted Amazon customer service on January 26th. By this time, my washer/dryer combo was out of the (extremely short) 90-day manufacturer warranty and Amazon's 30-day money-back satisfaction guarantee, however, after explaining in detail my ongoing issues and providing a paper trail supporting my assertions, Amazon took responsibility where Equators management failed to and made things right with me

Do buy anything from Equator appliances

After teo months of use the dryer was not working probably. A claim was submitted, I have yet to receive parts so that the machine can be fixed u der warrenty. Do not expect your problem to be fixed right away. It has been over a month and I am still waiting for parts to be shipped

Water Usage

I'm not sure why the manufacturer felt it was necessary to attempt to continue pumping when there isn't any water left in the drum. This will be the second part to fail since it is used so much. 4-Preset cycles can't be modified; the options can't be modified like water temperature and number of rinses. I prefer using the "Heavy" cycle but find it totally unnecessary to have 3 rinses

Description on listing is wrong, no one answers the phones at the company # for calls or text's

I tired calling the 1800 number that is for problems left 3 messages sent a text to the number given in the instructions (no response in 3 days) decided to pull the plug and restart the unit, it then started the cycle right were it left off and went on its way. I then noticed during the dry cycle it was adding water - I specifically bought this unit over the other brands for this statement in the description listed above I have this hooked up VENTED so I want it to use dry air only but it seams that it keeps dumping water in the drum and trying to dry as it would ventless .. Like I said I bought this for the vent mode to dry with HOT AIR only and its not working like that

Noise Level

Don’t buy if you want ventless feature, loud

The product washes fine, it is way louder than the cheap magic chef 2 in one The ventless drying doesn’t work, it steam the heck out of your clothes, the entire unit sweats and steams up your room and nothing ever gets dry. I paid a lot for the ventless feature. If you want ventless don’t buy this it doesn’t dry. All this $$ and I’m having my clothes all over my house to dry, very disappointing

Squeaky and no response from customer service.

Unfortunately, since the very first load, it has been squeaky, which is very frustrating as it is located in the middle our living spaces. I have reached out to customer service via text and email, with no response. It’s extremely frustrating. I might just return it and try a different brand, but am still undecided on what to do about it

Capacity

Not perfect but pretty good

I wash maybe 2 pairs of jeans and maybe 3-4 T shirts. That's the maximum. If you do more than that expect a whole lot of shake and your clothes not getting dry. All these smaller RV type washer and dryer combos cannot handle a whole lot at once

Arrived not working, but sent parts and technician

Plan to go to laundromat to wash thicker blankets. It says the capacity is larger than a typical top load washer, but you can only do about half of a full load that you would typically do in a top load washer.

Price

Faster on vent mode. is it worth it? YES should you buy it? YES good for small familys of 2, college students, single people in apartments

Size

Does not fully dry clothes unless very small load. Disappointed.

Due to compact size it’s great in my tiny house. I live alone so it works for me but this wouldn’t ever work for a family! Value wise I can buy a 2 piece washer dryer set for less that does a better job.

Almost didn't! Glad I did!!

this unit is definitely not for a big family! It's ment for a couple or one person! That is definitely right! As you can see it's a small standing unit about the size of a dishwasher. BUT! That's what I love about it! It has definitely taken a LOT less space then my samsung washer and dryer that filled this whole space up that you see where this lovely washer dry combo sets!!! I LOVE THAT! I was kinda in shock at first! But the more I have used this unit the more I see I made a great choice! Just my husband and I now, the kids are grown have families of there own I don't need 2 huge space taking units anymore! Now I'm thinking of what to do with this space I gained by down sizing to this AWESOME washer dryer combo!! I have been using this for over 2 months now and I think it's gotten clothes cleaner! So if you are looking to save on space and down size this is perfect! Has been for me! and my husband really likes it too!
