I bought a babyjogger city elite when I had my first kid 11 years ago, and it's handled everything the next 3 kids could throw at it for more than a decade. we used the thing whenever we needed max comfort/capability/storage and it was the MVP of every theme park trip / vacation / intl trip for more than 10 years. 

i love the foam filled tires--doing tube jobs for stroller wheels suck. The frame looks as good as new, fabric looks great--nothing ever broke on this stroller.

I did a search in this sub to make sure this wasn’t a repeat or common question, and haven’t seen anything more recent than a few years! But delete if I missed it.

You guys killed it with wedding registry suggestions so now I’m looking for opinions on our new baby’s stroller.

I’m willing to splurge on this, if I need to.

These two things might matter:
We live in North Georgia in a neighborhood with a ton of hills. We walk a LOT and go on  hikes quite a lot. Not looking for the 4Runner of strollers, but we do take dirt paths a lot.

We want more kids so bonus points if it allows for a second child later on.

I’ve been looking at the UPPAbaby but a lot of people say it’s a status symbol and not that good. Is that true? I also hate that there’s a billion attachments needed to make the stroller actually function. Reminds me of an Apple product.

Lastly, and this is just my own confusion, but do most strollers come with the bassinet? I had no idea a baby needed to lay down flat for the first six months 🤦🏽‍♀️ but thinking about it, I swear I never see strollers with bassinets. That was news to me.

So I guess I need a lightweight, long lasting stroller with a bassinet and car seat attachment.

Typically this is what I'll have with me during the summer and then you know, early spring, late fall when the bugs are kind of dying off or if I'm gonna be in a place where there really isn't any water around. and I don't have to worry about a whole bunch of a whole bunch of bugs flying around. This insect repellent is unlike the lemon of eucalyptus. This one is actually artificially manufactured. This is not a natural chemical so it is toxic

 It is an artificial cam so it is not something that you're going to be able to just you know, use and think that you're getting something all-natural But there you have it, the Picard and insect repellent my preference.  I do prefer the lotion because it stays on longer. it's easier to apply, but picaridin also comes in a spray and it is dere safe so this repellent will not damage artificial or man-made fibers. Overall, it's been one of the best that I've used. I'd say it is probably the best and it's the one I most often bring with me but it works where the the lemon of eucalyptus worked and you know, low Bug densities
