 Now I personally think that when you were getting into this size category of firearm, you would be foolish not to go with something in a rifle caliber. You can get a shorty 300 blackout with a can on it in the same exact size, it'll take the sting off of the supersonics in your house and you are going to be getting significantly more power out of that rifle cartridge, whether it be 556, 300 blackout, 762 by 39, 308 even if you want the big boy. Now I do think this would make an excellent home defense gun if you did want something that was quieter, had less recoil, maybe something for your trusted kid to run to if they're home alone and someone breaks into the house, this would make a great option. If you have someone in your home that you don't think could handle the ear splitting kaboom of an unsuppressed rifle in your home, then the nine millimeter would be another good option as well

 Watch your fire. One bullet in the wrong place and the entire refinery could go. Dango, down. Kit, we gotta get you leveled up

Still a Good Choice? CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 Review!

A PCC isn’t going to give you lighter recoil than a gas gun. Especially if it’s running low mass BCG. 

After some deliberation, I'm settling on a PCC for home defense for my wife. She's not gun friendly, but accepts the idea that it's better to be ready. She won't train enough to get proficient with a handgun, and the charging handle on an AR isn't going to work for her. (A couple trial runs with my AR has shown that.) I won't keep a loaded chamber on the AR so that eliminates the platform. 

So from a size, capacity, recoil, ease of use, and noise requirement, I'm going to get a PCC and put a suppressor on it. Got to have a side charging handle, and I'd prefer to go shorter rather than a carbine length barrel if possible. 

Any suggestions? I'd prefer to keep the price below $1k considering I'm still slapping a dot on it and suppressing it, I don't want to have $3k sunk into it. But if something is clearly superior for a few hundred more, I'll consider it.

PCC suggestions

I'd opt for the Scorpion solely based on that it is more compact and should be more easily manipulated inside the cab of a vehicle.

 We're going to take our bolt and push it back and it just locks right into place. Take your trigger group. Push down the pin. The brace goes up over

 You have an ambidextrous safety, and of course here on the other side. And they do have a part where you can actually remove the safety on the right side with just a plate. Also we have a bolt release right here, a bolt hold open. But you do have a charging handle up front

I need to reload All right I had to break my grip just a little bit to get those mags in and out which I am happy to report. I would Probably even venture to say 25 yards Anything outside that you'll probably start to notice like hey, man, this thing needs Something done with the trigger. Okay, so that's kind of where I was at with it Hollis and did a great job on this gun and the recoil Really was super manageable and that was one of the things I was really concerned with With the overall size of the gun nine millimeter caliber It really did a nice job and keep in mind too that with the Strybog that we had Um, it it was also a blowback design and because you have that big mass bolt Moving back and forth each and every time compared to something like a piston gun like your mpx copper head It's going to give you a little bit more felt recoil

 I just I just really prefer that so It also does come with sights straight from the factory not going to be able to see them too well But we will take some pictures here, which you can use to adjust your elevation Windage all that good stuff in the rear here You can see you have a basically a normal pistol sight right there. And then of course pistol sight up front Here's where your ejection port is This is a blowback design by the way and you can see they flared it out here to give you better ejection and Better reliability. UZI Pro Pistol...A True Classic Updated  For Modern Times

 Now lastly, the recoil impulse on the Pro was remarkably light for a blowback firearm. Yes, I know it's only 9mm, but even the Scorpion EVO from CZ felt snappy by comparison to the Uzi Pro. Is the IWI Uzi Pro worth the money? Well, with an MSRP of $1,309, it's a little bit expensive for a large format 9mm handgun. Except for when you compare it to other designs that kind of try to fill the same niche

 Which brings us to the other big improvement of the Pro, the side charging handle. This might make the gun a little less friendly to left-handed shooters, but it allows the weapon to be charged more easily since the handle itself is much larger than the original top-mounted one because it doesn't need to fit the profile of the sights, and it allows the shooter to be able to charge the weapon without blocking his iron sights. Word of the wise, measure three times and cut once. And as far as accuracy, the Pro did surprisingly well given its relatively short 4

 So overall, despite being slightly heavier, I actually found the trigger really easy to work with. And one thing I found with this is the accuracy of this, the ability to shoot it well was far greater than I expected. I actually pulled nice groups with this. I did not have high expectations for it

 There's the reset, basically all the way out, but since the trigger is so short to begin with, it actually ends up being quite a nice trigger. And then again, you've got that nice short crisp break.
