Cyberpunk 2077 vs Fallout 4

The AAA trend today is for flexing your $10,000 PC and your connection to the internet. lol

The bad news is, there's no way to go beyond just adding 1 point per level up (previously dumping points under intelligence gave you more perk points to use)...so you have to be way more aware and discerning about where you put that level up point, especially as leveling up becomes harder and more rare as time goes on, simply due to the experience points required

Frame rate in combat makes aiming guns feel terrible even with aim assist, and snap to target turned on along with a lot of sensitivity tweaking, this is exasperated even more so in melee combat. A weird bug where giving my character a hat caused him to go bald when he looked in the mirror. A LOT of stutter and awkward pauses in actions. A video playing in an elevator during a load sequence was playing like a slideshow

CP2077 does hit its own stride after hitting you over the head with "look how cyberpunk" in its opening hours. I'm loving this game, and since I'm on winter break and recovering from oral surgery, I'm really glad I didn't have to wait. If you've been able to live with glitches in your massively open world games in the past, you'll know how to make the best of this fantastic game.

Well, bethesda must have heard me, b/c now instead of pausing, it just slows the game down, so you can still take damage. Skill Tree: I understand that people don't like this, but really, it's the same darn thing as you had before. the only difference is, you don't work your way up to them, you can pick which one you want at any time, so long as you have the SPECIAL points invested in it. And since you can level each of these perks (they start with three to five blank stars that you can put more points in as you increase level), I don't see what the fuss is about

I don’t know why but I haven’t experienced any quest inhibiting glitches. Not one. The worst that happens is I can’t pick up worthless junk loot once in a while, or there’s a purely visual glitch (like my mantis blades won’t go back in or a phone floats in the air after I’ve killed its owner). So far, those have always disappeared on reload

It is just a tad bit unbelievable. It also doesn't help that a lot, and I mean a lot, of the side quests are tied to the main story-line. Once I completed the main story-line, I had a very hard time finding quests. A lot of these quests are tied with the main factions, and once the story line is over, a lot of these quests just vanish from all of them

A Day One patch is coming which should iron out some of the creases, but given there are hundreds of clothing items and specific animations for pulling a laptop out from under a bed, keep your expectations tempered.
