Curvy Kate Luxe Strapless Bra vs Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless

The fitter first put me in a 34FF- way too big in the band. Then a 32F- way too small in the cup. She was also weirdly trash talking the store through our fitting which made me very uncomfortable, and in an effort to just get out of there and come back another day, I succumbed to my people-pleasing/confrontation avoidant nature and purchased the last bra she put me in- which she INSISTED was a GREAT fit. So my last 'proper' underwired bra (which naturally hasn't been worn in months because I've been living in PJ's) was a 32FF but having also put on a bit of weight recently I know it was too small and has been for a while. I'm currently trying to buy a strapless bra for trying on wedding dresses etc so ordered a couple of the Wonderbra ultimate (the one with the hands bit) having had success with them before years ago but let's just say it was a disaster I tried both the 34F and 34FF and both were too small and also just cut in at the wrong spot.

It's also comfortable enough that I'll wear it casually with no problem! I measure at ~31" but usually find a 30 too uncomfortable. On this, the band is soft enough that I probably could have gone down to a 30G and been ok. As it is, it's serviceable on the first row of hooks and better on the 2nd, giving me only a little room for wearing as the band stretches out over time. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking for something like I described

Go one cup size bigger for an truly awesome, comfortable and 'safe' fit. You won't believe how amazing this strapless bra is until you try it. Bigger cup sized ladies - this one is for you! A must purchase.

While this bra is made of quality material, the shape just didn't work with me. As many strapless bras have done to me, this one closed off very tightly at the top, giving me a double bubble and a weird silhouette. For reference, my usual size is 28g-gg and I'm about even to FOT with somewhat tall roots

Honestly the wonderbra ultimate strapless is a pretty good one, and when you’re wearing the right size it’s v secure, just depends on your shape as to whether it works for you and gives you the shape/look you’re looking for. The other thing is that (as with a lot of strapless bras) it comes up quite high at the outside sides of the cups so it may potentially show slightly if you’re wearing a cami-style dress like this.

I'm left with sore red marks, and maybe even a few cuts (there was no bleeding, but I have little dots around where the outer edge of the underwire sits). The best part about this bra is the way it looks, it fits pretty well in the cup despite my closely placed breasts. Other than the fit issue, I'm a fan of this bra.
