 Due to construction, I have doubts about this lasting for years and years. Generally, from a brand like Cuisinart, one expects more quality.  If you can get this on sale, then it's a decent waffle/sandwich iron. If it's not on sale, skip it

This is an excellent waffle maker. Straight forward process, mix the batter, pour it onto the hot waffle iron, close it up and wait for it to beep. Consistently turns out good waffles. The plates are easy to pop out and wash as necessary

 There are like a lot of reasons why i love it and there's like two reasons: why i don't like it, but why don't we just start off with why i like this all right or why my mom likes it. So the reason why we like this is because it's washable, first of all, there's a lot of waffle makers out there that are like 20 bucks, there's even one - that's like 15 10, but are they really that good?  I forgot to mention this in the ingredient, but you also need to add two eggs mix it well and in about a few seconds. You'Re now able to put it in the pancake, slash waffle maker, there's a range of numbers between one through six and my mom turns it up to four to preheat the machine and also don't forget to brush your pan with a little bit of butter. And that's about it now your pancakes ready and you can enjoy them and, like i said just a few minutes ago, my mom had to flip these pancakes one by one just to get to where they are right now, um she'll need to flip them all once, But i still think that's stupid and i hope there's like some sort of solution to that.  Now my countertops are protected with use the waffle maker on and don’t worry about it scratching the surface, plus it makes good waffles.

 I thought I was missing 2 feet it arrived. I called customer service and was surprised as some of the other reviewers here were, to learn that this how this unit comes, with only 2 rubber feet. I couldn't believe it and the customer service rep really wasn't going to do anything about it, except said that is how it comes. The fact that Cuisinart could have spent the pennies for them to put 2 additional rubber feet inserts in the bottom where they are designed to go. I have used this iron about a dozen times now, and have come to really like it. You can too! First, butter the griddles when it's cold, then it is not necessary to do it again after that. To get the waffle to be brown on top, you MUST put in sufficient batter so that it has sufficient contact with the griddle plate! I used a one-cup measure, and QUICKLY poured one cup for each half of the griddle (I have the 4-waffle iron). Since I work quickly I don't really get to dump the entire cup, it works out to a bit less than ONE CUP PER 2 WAFFLES

 The WAF 150 only has waffle plates which cannot be removed. Neither iron can be used as a grill or to make grilled cheese sandwiches. While the irons look the same in size the WAF 150 is larger in both its exterior size and the size of the waffles it makes. It will make 4 square waffles that come out to one giant waffle that is 9 1/8” by 9 1/8” square and has larger dimples

 You will have to decide if the price difference between the two machines is worth the added features of the WAF 300 more compact design, removable plates, extra pancake plate, and beep at the end of the cooking cycle. Personally the WAF 150 was the better choice for our cottage where we will be cooking more batches of waffles for guests and the slightly larger size and shorter cooking time will come in handy. On the other hand the smaller foot print and removable grates and the beep feature of the WAF 300 are convenient at home.

  Conclusion: both of these machines produced the kind of crispy waffles we like. Both machines are brand new fresh out of the box. You will have to decide if the price difference between the two machines is worth the added features of the WAF 300 more compact design, removable plates, extra pancake plate, and beep at the end of the cooking cycle. Personally the WAF 150 was the better choice for our cottage where we will be cooking more batches of waffles for guests and the slightly larger size and shorter cooking time will come in handy

The Hamilton Beach Flip Belgian offers the ideal blend of performance and cost. While this model certainly isn't perfect, the increased cost of getting a higher quality product won't necessarily be worth it for many consumers. This unit's cooking performance was squarely average. When set to some of the lower cooking settings, waffles would often come out unevenly cooked with varying levels of brownness across the length of the waffle. Our testers found fewer inconsistencies when set to higher cooking settings. The built-in timer was reasonably accurate and reflected the actual level of doneness selected. Our testers appreciated that the overflow basin was removable and dishwasher safe. Few models we tested have this feature. If you value cleaning convenience, this could be a key consideration. We found that batter would stick to the basin horribly unless coated with a serious amount of cooking spray. The basin is also quite large, and our testers never had any batter spill onto the counter. 
This model felt moderately safe to operate. It has no on or off switch but immediately starts heating up when plugged in, so you must remember to unplug it after cooking. The biggest issue with this model is how inconsistent it can be. While it often produces yummy and evenly cooked waffles, it will often turn out one with various levels of doneness and textures.   We did opt for the copper color grills, believing they may have better and longer-lasting non-stick properties, and wanting to get away from the "flaking" black colored grills that more than one review talked about. It was a good choice..

We purchased this waffle maker to replace an older, similarly styled (flip) waffle maker that decided it was time to move on to the next life (that would be the recycled life or a landfill, wherever they took it). The old one was really nice, heavy, sturdy, and it had a light to let you know when the waffle was done. It's still available, but only for more than twice the $79.95 we paid for it a decade or more ago

 it's probably in the description someplace, and we were just probably spoiled from our other waffle maker. So each waffle needs to be timed on a clock/watch/timer so as to get it done and not over-done. If slightly under-done, you can just close the unit again and give it another minute. The time will vary based upon the temp setting, the waffle mix and maybe the day of the week

  One nice feature is that it's easy to clean up, at least with the copper grills, and assuming you don't over-fill it badly. With a little practice on the first waffle or two, I was able to determine just how much batter to pour into it using a 1-cup measuring cup, and by pouring fairly evenly all the way around the circle, I had virtually nothing to clean up. If anything oozes out between the grills, you just leave it there until everything cools down and it comes right off. There's a nice removable plate that catches any larger overflow, but if you over-fill by that much, you just need to cut back
