This waffle marker is great and easy to use! The book comes with helpful tips and delicious recipes my only complaint is; is that the handle get REALLY HOT so if you buy this be carful! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars all around!

I swear. Why is it so hard to get a waffle iron that does not suck, these days. Instead, I had an old Cook's single flip waffle maker I bought on sale at JC Penney years ago, that lasted forever. Cooked waffles evenly, never gave me any crap until it finally died

The best thing we found to do is make the waffles, freeze them and then when we want one put them in the toaster oven for a few minutes. AND finally..

• No batter portion scoop – not a problem for me since the Cuisinart came with one, but had I bought only the Black & Decker model I would have wanted a portion cup. • More compact design – definitely easier to store! • I liked the black plastic exterior – cleaned up easily and did not streak and smudge from the get-go as happened with the stainless steel Cuisinart. • Removable plastic drip plate beneath waffler iron is nice for easier clean-up • No beep notifications. A light tells you when the iron is heated, but nothing to tell you when the waffle is done cooking

I had it replaced under warranty, which was nice, but now the replacement waffle maker is doing the same thing. There seems to be a design defect with this waffle maker that causes the beeper to go bad, probably due to moisture from the steam.

It was so HOT on Level 4 that I decided to wait to wipe it off when I was done making one pair of waffles. That took only a few minutes, but it was another 30 minutes before I could wipe off that baked-on batter. It wasn’t too noticeable, but I could tell that I’d really mess up its nice silver finish in a matter of months bc I intend to use it more than once a week. I’d be less likely to drip batter onto a hot waffle maker from a batter cup held by my right hand if I didn’t need to close it up and then turn the darn thing upside down quickly with my left hand, so a stationary model would be a better choice for me

Same thing happened. After 15 minutes, the maker said it was preheated. I had knob set on 3. When the first batch was done, they looked good but a little lighter than I prefer, so I turned knob up to 5 and when it preheated, I put in the second batch of batter

Too expensive to keep replacing every few years. Either make it a lot cheaper or make it last 20 years.:.

I would NOT recommend this waffle maker at all, especially given the price. A basic intro waffle maker would be a better value. I don’t make waffles too often so it’s not that big of a deal, but I’m still bummed about my decision to buy this waffle maker because I’m never excited to eat the waffles from this machine.

5 instead of 4 but that’s not an option…the only reason I took off 1/2 a star is because I would prefer if the grates were removable for even easier cleaning.

This waffle iron does what it's supposed to do but we bought it specifically because of the removable Dishwasher safe grid plates. Tired of scraping waffle bits and overflow out of the crevices of our old maker, this was supposed to offer the easy cleanup we were dreaming of. We make waffles just about every other Saturday morning and have had this maker for 8 months and the plates are oxidizing or something. So with the new Cuisinart I've carefully cleaned all cooking spray and food from the cooking grids after each use. Waffles slide out, no sticking and the Teflon coating is like new after two months of use. I hope to keep it that way. It's a great double waffle maker

The bad reviews for this product are from idiots that either don't know how to take care of their things or just like to complain. Don't use oil, butter or cooking spray like some of these Dolts have, turn it on, let it heat, pour 1 1/4 cup of waffle batter in the center and close. Make sure the setting is at 4 1/2 for darkness. When it beeps, it's ready, it will not stick

She took all of my information, twice, in fact, because their system had been glitchy all day and the first entry of my info disappeared when she tried to submit it all. When I asked her what I should do with the defunct unit, she said, "Oh, just throw it away." I confirmed with her, "Really, you don't need it back or anything?" But she assured me, "No, unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done with it. Just throw it away

This waffle iron feels flimsy and not well made, as evidenced by the malfunctioning alarm sound. I give it 2 stars because I like the depth and size of the waffles it makes and it is convenient to be able to remove the pans in order to wash them.

The cup it comes with is the perfect size; I filled it up and poured it onto the griddle and it turned out to be the perfect size! After filling the one size, we closed the lid and flipped it. It turns very easily and locks sturdily in place when you get to the opposite side. Filled the cup up again with batter and poured onto the griddle. Closed that lid and flipped again to the other side

I had over a year and nine months to make the decision in purchasing a brand new waffle maker, so I decided to make the purchase on Amazon.com. At first glance I thought the Krups Belgium Waffle Maker would be about the size of 8 inch cooking pan. In reality the waffle maker is more like 12 inches long and some what bulky for my kitchenette
