Cuisinart Custom 14 vs KitchenAid KFP1318BM

Specifically the Cuisinart 14 cup. I make pie dough, pizza dough, pate a choux, etc. with a food processor. It makes things super quick and easy, and the Cuisinart is super quiet compared to other food processors out there

Quick and simple! The quality this processor produces is incredible as well! I made egg salad with this and it was so smooth! I have a child with sensory issues and while they love egg salad, the texture is a BIG issue. I have never been able to make it so easily as I was able to with this! Needless to say, myself and my family are loving it! I also have to mention, you don't have to worry about storing parts for it either, they all fit inside for easy storage! KitchenAid always makes such great, quality products and this 13 cup food processor is no different!

We started a plant-based lifestyle and realized quickly that we needed a 14 cup capacity processor! My mom had this Cuisinart in the 80’s and used it frequently. So I knew Cuisinart was the way to go & we are happy with that decision!

I am fan of a KitchenAid products for a long time and this is my new toy I am glad to have. This blender has great capacity for our family - 13 cup is just right!
This food processor is super easy to clean and store ( you simply set everything together and its not take so much of a space at your kitchen as you simply put all blades to a bowl and all you have is blender at the kitchen. Easily control your slices size, chop, knead, spread and mix. With this blender you will not have anymore hand-cuts but lots of joy being an own chef for your family! Thanks for a great quality and another great product KitchenAid!

The chopping/mixing/dough blade sits too high in the 14-cup work bowl of the new model, which results in incomplete and inadequate mixing of certain foods. The s-blade of my old Cuisinart food processor rested flat in its bowl. In the new 14-cup model, for example, blending flour, butter, and milk together for a quiche crust has resulted in overly wet and lumpy mixtures that require additional adjusting outside of the mixing bowl (a problem I never had with my old Cuisinart food processor). When making salsa in the new Cuisinart, large pieces of vegetables are left unincorporated because the chopping/mixing/dough blade rests too high in the work bowl

Unfortunately, this thing is a piece of junk. It has no power. It's really only good for chopping (and I have a 13c machine in the basement that does that.) Whenever I try to use the shredding disc, it stops working and I end up chopping my ingredient -- usually cheese

This bad boy has some power and is sharp! Me and my wife meal prep and we use this to chop our onions and slice our carrots. It comes with everything you will need and makes cutting veggies easy. We were able to cut 4 large peppers for fajitas into thin slices in about 20 seconds. This will cut down your prep time and make your life simpler!

I find it a like under powered. Same power as a 3 cup processor. 250 watts I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong

On the positive side, the warming drawer is helpful but you can't put in anything too tall- and by tall, I mean a dish with a lot of food on it. The warming burner works really well and is a great feature. While I like this range and it looks beautiful, I would consider a different brand next time around. I'm sorry to be so critical, but customer reviews are important both to other consumers and the company
