Crock-Pot 8-Quart Express Crock XL vs Zavor LUX LCD : ZSELL02

We have had our unit for a couple of months and it is very nice, but I am concerned that I cannot find a replacement sealing ring. I cannot recommend this product to a friend until there is more support from Crock Pot.

This Zavor is only useful as a door stop. Unfortunately, the warranty is limited, and despite the display being a design failure, we can no longer return or repair ours - a very costly mistake on our part. DON'T BUY THIS. FIND SOME OTHER COOKER

The size of the crock pot is so big that it didn't fit in my kitchen. I found that I was unable to use the Crock-Pot because of this fact. I'm happy to say that I did give the Crock-Pot to my daughter who has children and can cook great big meals for her family. She absolutely loves it

It was damaged. I returned it to the seller. They refunded my $ no problem & let me purchase another one with same discounted. I did purchase the 8 qt instead because of the size of the 6 quart is too small for a family of 4

I can cook everything in one pot. A multi functional pot. I use it every day and its holding up very well. Made many meals in it and very happy

Update on previous review. Worked great for five months and now I am without a cooker. It quit. Update:

So we made our traditional things we would make like stews and then we pushed it! Normally I like a pot roast to go all day (6-8 hours). So we decided to try it with pressure cooker to see if we could speed it up. We did it in 2 hours and it tasted like all day cooking! Hooray!. We haven't done the frying yet but it's next on our list to try

I was brought up on the "old" way of cooking... like planning a meal and not being able to have instant food, other than a microwave oven which doesn't "cook" food very well

The fact that the inner pot is made of metal, instead of ceramic is a huge plus. It is lighter and the pot doesn’t chip like my older ones. Cleaning is simpler and I believe this will last a lot longer than previous devices similar to this. I highly recommend this! There are so many uses for it and it can really cook almost anything

The stainless steel liners that came with my Instant Pots still show no rust after four years - they were obviously made with a higher grade stainless steel than what Zavor chose to use.
