Aventus is the original, which I would also recommend over this version. “Aventus Cologne” was released in 2019 as a fresher version of the original Creed Aventus.  These are just some pros and cons that I see when looking at this fragrance in 2022. I don't think the newer batches, at least from my perspective, perform as well. But very negligible differences from my nose that if you are not that familiar with Aventus, you're not going to go crazy and be like, oh, this is not Aventus. If you're smelling it for the first time, this is still Aventus, no matter what bottle I think you're getting

 But it is, I think, different from many people that are more into it. Of course, I am not like the biggest Aventus acolyte. So I will let some people in the comments say their own feelings about Aventus in 2022. But I wanted to address this topic because people are still very much interested in this fragrance

 I thought that was a requirement for having a fragrance channel, but I get why it's so hyped. It's mass appealing. It has a versatile element to it that can be worn year round. It smells sophisticated and opulent

 And I think just the composition is well done. It's a defining fragrance and kind of defines this last 10 years of fragrances and kind of what has really taken off. And when you can influence other designers from the niche perspective, I think that is an indication that you're doing something right. So I get why Aventus is so loved

I had never smelled it before and I couldn’t find it in stores, after a while I just decided to buy it. I was expecting to be blown away and in my opinion, it’s a a good smell but, definitely not worth the price..

 It's rich, it's sophisticated, yet versatile. And I will say, it's a very unique scent, but one that still can be worn by a lot of guys. Now, how does it arrive at this scent? It does so with a combination of top notes of pineapple, blackcurrant, apple and bergamot, mid notes of birch, patchouli, Moroccan jasmine, and rose, and base notes of musk, oakmoss, ambergris, and vanilla. All combined to give you this rich, fresh, yet sweet and smoky scent

 When you first buy it, it smells great. But I know those months down the road, it starts to smell even better. Now, my theory on that is that because it has a lot of natural ingredients, the natural ingredients start to settle and you get a better scent over time. Just my theory

 Now, in many circles, Creed Aventus is considered a modern masterpiece. Many will tell you it's one of the greatest men's fragrances of all time, if not the best. I love cologne but this is not even worth $1, I was so excited for this cologne but when I opened it and smelled it, it was a complete rip off, I use alot of different colognes but this is not cologne, deodorant smells better and last longer than this and they don't offer refunds or exchanges so what must I do now please help

 I do love the bottle on this I think it's a nice heavy bottle. I love that the inner chamber is Suspended in this glass or lucite or whatever. This is made out of I love that the top is this Creamy color here a beige color with the Narciso Rodriguez imprinted on the top I love all of these bottles these cubes. They're they're really chic to me I tried layering this with a few other fragrances just because I wanted to see what else it could smell like Not that there's anything wrong with this on its own

It is beautiful all by itself But I did try it with and these are cheap knockoff versions. Well, I don't know if they're knockoff Sorry, sorry to the company if if that's an offense, but I got these on Amazon and they're knockoffs to me of the Eccentric Molecules collection, so Molecules scent 01 which is isoe super and it gives it it amps up the woodiness in here But also seems to amplify the musk

 I use the word lactonic which means milky or creamy Very creamy very musky and some powder in there in the base. There's cedar White cedar extract and vetiver. I can't say that the vetiver stands out to me at all the cedar perhaps but what you get here is mostly mostly a huge fluffy bed of musk with a little powder in it and a lot of Gardenia and some rose for a while. I swore this had a hint of tuberose and in fact I said this in a previous video and I'm wrong It does not have tuberose in it at least not according to the notes that are listed here on Fragrantica I Pictured this being a really fantastic Wedding fragrance before an evening fragrance in the late summer into the early fall I wear this all year round though And it's one of those fragrances that takes on different character in different seasons in the summer Like I said, it could be a little bit much but those florals are really amplified in the winter There's that beautiful musk that you picture underneath a warm cozy sweater You know, you're wrapped up in blankets

 It's sort of a little bit of a scent bubble around you But it does stay on you for most of the day But I think in just you know along my arm I will continue to test it with a one in one spot rain in another and tuberose in another So you guys i'm going to smell like a perfume counter flower shop and linen shop. However, the powdery, warm vanilla taste is very common and I’m sure if you are into perfume u would have had some other bottles that smell just like this from either Chanel or Lancôme. This is a very soft - yet distinct - creamy, amber-y, vanilla-ish, barely floral, long-lasting skin scent. Its sillage is muted (meaning it won't announce your arrival nor linger after you leave - both good things), but it definitely has a lasting presence up close and is absolutely lovely. The powdery aspect of it is creamy, not chalky.  The bottle is stunning
