Creed Aventus vs Glossier You

Aventus is the original, which I would also recommend over this version. “Aventus Cologne” was released in 2019 as a fresher version of the original Creed Aventus. The original Aventus was released in 2010. I recommend anyone interested go smell them both at Nordstrom, they’re both very similar but I prefer the original

Not too sweet or floral. Vanilla, cozy, warm, musk, Amber, creamy, mysterious, sensual (I'm bad at identifying notes), strong but forgiving enough to wear every day. I like Glossier you, Black Opium, Dior Poison Girl, Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise, Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana, Versace Crystal Noir.

I haven’t found another vanilla I like but this warm cinnamony frag is perfect. Glossier You — I bought this on Black Friday and have been wearing it non stop. It’s light and inoffensive for work or travel, cheap enough to spray on all the time even if I never leave the house.

I had never smelled it before and I couldn’t find it in stores, after a while I just decided to buy it. I was expecting to be blown away and in my opinion, it’s a a good smell but, definitely not worth the price..

Really nice fragrance and worth 5 stars BUT it costs $60 with free shipping straight from Glossier. Granted, you won't get it overnight or in 2 days but it's worth the wait. Just reporting a fact.

At almost $500 a bottle ever batch should smell like the original! the one that made history, as the so called best smelling fragrance ever for men, creed it's missing the wonderful pineapple notes. So Sad!

Glossier You: This was my first ever fragrance. I bought it blind, and it was alright. It's a close skin scent, and it's a fresh scent like something right out of the dryer. It has very peppery top notes, but it's great to wear to work and school since it's non-offensive and the sillage is very limited

Great scent only thing is it does not last. I have not had one person out of the house compliments on the scent because it’s probably already evaporated. I seen somewhere you should apply unscented lotion onto your body first and then shortly after spritz a good amount on yourself and it should last longer. To be honest have not tried this yet
