Aventus is the original, which I would also recommend over this version. “Aventus Cologne” was released in 2019 as a fresher version of the original Creed Aventus.  These are just some pros and cons that I see when looking at this fragrance in 2022. I don't think the newer batches, at least from my perspective, perform as well. But very negligible differences from my nose that if you are not that familiar with Aventus, you're not going to go crazy and be like, oh, this is not Aventus. If you're smelling it for the first time, this is still Aventus, no matter what bottle I think you're getting

 But it is, I think, different from many people that are more into it. Of course, I am not like the biggest Aventus acolyte. So I will let some people in the comments say their own feelings about Aventus in 2022. But I wanted to address this topic because people are still very much interested in this fragrance

 I thought that was a requirement for having a fragrance channel, but I get why it's so hyped. It's mass appealing. It has a versatile element to it that can be worn year round. It smells sophisticated and opulent

 And I think just the composition is well done. It's a defining fragrance and kind of defines this last 10 years of fragrances and kind of what has really taken off. And when you can influence other designers from the niche perspective, I think that is an indication that you're doing something right. So I get why Aventus is so loved

I had never smelled it before and I couldn’t find it in stores, after a while I just decided to buy it. I was expecting to be blown away and in my opinion, it’s a a good smell but, definitely not worth the price..

At almost $500 a bottle ever batch should smell like the original! the one that made history, as the so called best smelling fragrance ever for men, creed it's missing the wonderful pineapple notes. So Sad!

It does so with a combination of top notes of pineapple, blackcurrant, apple and bergamot, mid notes of birch, patchouli, Moroccan jasmine, and rose, and base notes of musk, oakmoss, ambergris, and vanilla. All combined to give you this rich, fresh, yet sweet and smoky scent

 When you first buy it, it smells great. But I know those months down the road, it starts to smell even better. Now, my theory on that is that because it has a lot of natural ingredients, the natural ingredients start to settle and you get a better scent over time. Just my theory

 Now, in many circles, Creed Aventus is considered a modern masterpiece. Many will tell you it's one of the greatest men's fragrances of all time, if not the best.  As far as the projection it is definitely past an arm's length for the first 45 minutes to an hour and then it does get a little closer to the body. This definitely is not a skin scent so people are going to be able to smell this especially if they're walking by you or you walk by them. So that combination alone makes this fragrance very sexy, very intoxicating and it smells absolutely incredible. Performance wise this is doing a really nice job on my skin which tends to be a little drier. Now everybody's skin is different but this lasts about six plus hours on my skin and I well notice this fragrance the next day on my clothes so it really does hang on to your clothes and has some great staying power

 It's a little bit different than the original. Now they both have the same DNA but this one is a little bit more potent should I say and it lasts a little bit longer. Now you're going to notice when you first spray this in this one you're getting this gorgeous black current and it's a very jammy very sweet black current that mixes beautifully with asparta rose as well as divana and then you also have some benzoin resin in here as well as patchouli essence and vanilla absolute. So that combination alone makes this fragrance very sexy, very intoxicating and it smells absolutely incredible

Si Intense EDP by Giorgio Armani 2021

 And then drizzling that on top of woods, patchouli, and you also get this gorgeous earthy spice in here too. And I love this scent. As I said earlier, it is quite heavy. So if you're going to wear this in the summer, you probably want to go easy on the sprays

 But then it seemed like as time passed and as it sits on my skin, it gets even stronger. There's a patchouli in here and it also gives some weight to this. It gives some earthiness to the scent. It is quite a heavy scent

 I also pick up on some woods in this fragrance and a little bit of spiciness. So basically in a nutshell, this perfume Armani C Intense is syrupy, mashed up different berries, mostly black currant, raspberry, maybe some strawberry in here as well. And then drizzling that on top of woods, patchouli, and you also get this gorgeous earthy spice in here too. And I love this scent

 Now blackcurrant syrup, how delicious does that sound? And then it has Turkish Rose and Davana. Now I didn't know what Davana was but apparently Davana is like a herb that kind of has a sweet tea smell to it. So that sounds absolutely gorgeous. And then in the base this has patchouli and Benzene

 I think it's a beautiful perfume. I think Armani did a really good job on it. I know they did already have an intense version of C which I think has been since discontinued. It was in a black bottle

 But you know I definitely think this is worth it. I really do like it. From what I can remember I prefer this to the original C. This is really addictive smelling
