Note to all: DONT use oven cleaner on it even though I came across a thread where people recommended using it. The grease indeed did come off, but at that cost of the non stick coating.

It is also easy to clean up since it has a nonstick surface. I have used it every day since I purchased it.

First off, I absolutely hate cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too much time. My recipes never turn out like they show in the cookbooks

If you are cooking for more than two at a time, I recommend a larger oven/fryer. It is bulky and won’t fit in most kitchen cabinets to store away.

It’s a different way to cook, but what I’ve cooked so far, I like. I’ve fried chicken, steaks, jalapeño poppers, and even breaded red fish. Guess the only drawback with the fryer is the size. The basket is big for baskets, but if your cooking for several people, (more than 2), you have to cook in stages

This is great for small amounts of food, but certain not practical for more than 2-3. It’s is much larger than I anticipated and can’t fit in my cupboards, so much remain on the countertop.

The instructions state that you must always preheat the fryer before using, and by doing that, I have had success with a variety of foods. However, one thing to note: you must always select a preset [steak, vegetable, chicken, etc.] and then adjust the temperature or time to your liking; you cannot simply set a temperature or time. The automatic pause halfway through cooking in order to shake/flip your food only works [beeps & turns off heat] if you do not adjust the preset times/temps

It’s better to cook on higher temp than cookbook recommends to get a crispier product such as chicken or fish. I cooked those items at 400 degrees rather than 375 as cookbook recommended.

It produces such a clean taste. Definitely for someone who has health issues that greasy foods would aggravate and exacerbate. Should’ve gotten this a long time ago. Saves time and energy and it tastes better

You can cook food with little to no oil. It just took some time to know the temperature adjustment what will works best for your likings. For health purposes it’s really good.
