It's optimized for both airflow and Static pressure airflow meaning say you put it on the front of your case and you want to just Suck in as much air as you want as you can through that case Static pressure is say Attaching that fan to a radiator You need more optimized Static pressure in order to push more air through that radiator and each fan design Will give you one or the other Depending but they've designed this one to give you sort of a combination of both And We'll go through the performance Of this to show you just how well it does perform. I can say that the Blade design on this fan The the blades make a little more noise So you hear more wind noise out of this fan than you do on the air balance fan that I have but Again, I'm not hearing any whine.  You can tell it's well built If you want to purchase this fan for yourself I will link it down in the video description But I am extremely happy with this fan I plan on in the future replacing the rest of the fans in my case With these I think it's a great Option for both airflow and static pressure. It performed excellent in the against the radiator of my cpu cooler and I love the way they look. I love my FANS! Corsair ML120 PRO Review!

 If you've ever had a PS4 pull a jet engine on you, it's pretty similar. With a headset on it really isn't noticeable and I think it honestly moves more air than my room fan does..

So, I read the reviews before I got this (Corsair ML120 Pro LED, White, 120mm Premium Magnetic Levitation Cooling Fan (CO-9050041-WW)). I just built a pc and my stock case fans are atrocious and it's making everything in my case moody. I'm a huge Corsair fan (despite my problems with the quality of some of their headsets) and I'm not super into RGB. It seemed like fate that I would find an LED only maglev fan

This is sick but I don't agree with the fan choice... I tried the Corsair ML120 Pro and thought they were unbearably noisy

Corsair ML120 pro RGB Review: A nice little upgrade

 Also the ML fans have a PWM connector compared to a 3 bin connector on their older SP and AF series because I believe it requires a constant 12v power source for that magnetic bearing to actually work properly. Also one thing to note, these ML fans are meant to float in mid air when powered on in your system but as you can see I can't actually remove the fan blades because they do fill out their tacks somehow but how they actually achieve this as well, your guess is as good as mine. So the first thing you will notice is Corsair has changed the look and design of the new ML fans. This time around Corsair has a new custom motor design which is meant to have a balance between high static pressure and high airflow which previously would require you to get some SP fans for static pressure for airflow through say a radiator and some AF fans for some decent airflow around your case, which is not required now with the ML series

3 of an amp. All these fans today have different RPM speeds but for a quick noise test I've set that all around 1300rpm to give a bit of a comparison. So to wrap things up, the ML series fans from Corsair are a serious piece of kit. After all, these are premium fans we are talking about here

 So the first thing you will notice is Corsair has changed the look and design of the new ML fans. This time around Corsair has a new custom motor design which is meant to have a balance between high static pressure and high airflow which previously would require you to get some SP fans for static pressure for airflow through say a radiator and some AF fans for some decent airflow around your case, which is not required now with the ML series. With that new custom road design, it appears they have smoothed off the housing around the fan blades on the front to stop any resistance of airflow and on the back changed the shape to allow better spread of air for possibly using with radiators. Corsair has also opted to mount the LEDs in the centre of the fan instead of on the corners like on their previous LED versions, which I have to say gives that light source that even clean look across the fan blades which is much better than their previous AF LED fans

 The airflow is between 12-75CAFM which is potentially better than both SP and AF series fans. The static pressure is between 0.2-4.2 and has a sound level of 16-37dBA and the fans can reach speeds of 2400rpm if you really feel the need to do so and also has a power draw of 0

Get some ML120 Pro or  Noctua NF-A12, you can get a powered PMW fan hub or 3 way splitter  just make sure you don't go over the 1A  allowed by the fan header.

As u can see, the case only have 1 x 120mm fan infront.

I would like to add 1 x 120mm fan where red arrow are. If that still not enough I would like to add 1-2 x 120mm fans where blue arrow. What fans do u recommend (no RGB fan)? The motherboard only have 1 extra Sys\_Fan (yellow arrow). How can I daisy chain the fans after if I buy them separately? Thanks!

Question on adding fans to 175R case

 I haven’t had the need to run them any faster due to the temps I’m seeing even on full load. I am running a 4790k (currently not overclocked but typically @ 4.8 GHZ), GTX970, with a Kraken X61 AIO Cooler. These fans are set up with three as intake on front of my Fractal Design Define S case with two set up as exhaust pushing air through the top mounted radiator

 Phanteks looks to have put a lot of design, engineering, and effort into these fans, but can they actually perform? That's right. These fans have a very familiar look and specs to other big names on the market, with the exception that these fans have an absolutely massive max RPM of 3,000 and are 30 millimeters thick. We'll test these fans using our standard suite of tests, and then we'll compare them to two very well-known competitors on the market today. Maybe we'll see some interesting results

 First, we'll test direct airflow using an anemometer and a 3D printed housing we've created to duct air. We'll be measuring the airflow in 10% PWM intervals to show the full range of the fan. But how does the T3120 stack up against the competition? Well, let's find out. OK, let's dig into the results here

 We were quite surprised by the results, especially in the radiator airflow testing, where the T3120 left both competitors behind by a healthy gap. Whether this is because of the extra 5 millimeters of depth on the fan frame, the three-phase motor, or something else, the T30 design seems to be working. Clearly, the Phanteks T3120 wins on airflow, but how loud is it compared to the competition? Well, let's find out.  There was the obvious trade-off of higher noise for higher performance that comes with larger diameter fans rotating at roughly the same speed, but the Toughfan 14 seemed like a good option given the increased peak performance and slightly lower price.  However, after trying the T30-120, there seems to be no reason to recommend the Toughfan 14 in any situation where the T30-120 would fit. The T30-120 running at 3000 RPM seems to do better pulling air through high resistance (the restrictive bottom dust filter on the Define R6) than the Toughfan 14 running at its maximum 2000 RPM.) I personally find the T30-120 to have an acceptable noise quality (though not as pleasant compared to the A12x25), but if near-silent or perceptually inconspicuous operation is required from your system, you would likely be better off using the A12x25 and accepting the reduction in maximum performance

Short recommendation:  This is probably the best fan on the market right now (as of 2021-09). Be sure to measure the available space in your chassis (or beside your radiator) to ensure the extra depth of a 30 mm thick fan won't be an issue, and buy this fan if it will fit. Unless noise levels are absolutely critical for your work, nothing else seems to beat the T30-120's versatility at the moment, and the fan would likely do well regardless of whether you need better performance (at higher noise) or better acoustics (lower volume) with still decent performance.  Review:  The T30-120 is a 120x120x30 mm fan, which is 5 mm thicker than your average 120 mm fan (at 120x120x25 mm)

I picked these up for my ITX PC. I run an H100i on my 5800X and an EVGA Hybrid kit on my 2080 Ti and the 3 pack was perfect for my setup. The fans themselves are much more quiet and efficient a lower RPMs than both stock fans I was running. I run them in the 2000rpm mode and have them running about ~60% all the time and for my setup I can barely hear the PC compared to before

Definitely move a lot of air at higher speeds but I have my fan curves set so they don't really ramp up unless it's pretty severe temps. I would also recommend removing the little rubber vibration dampers if you are mounting them against a radiator

Best Fans You Can Buy!

 They said, you know, we know PC cooling. We know how air moves inside of a chassis, and that's what makes this fan different. It's based on optimizing for the PC environment. So it turns out that they actually came to me a month ago, exactly, July 12th, 2021, that said, we want you to do a launch day review of our fan

 There's also the Thermaltake Toughend 12, which is sometimes 20 bucks, often it's up at 25. At that point, even though I've recommended it previously, I would not recommend it versus the Phanteks at 30. And then the Noctua at 33, sorry guys, I'm not going to recommend that anymore. Now that I've tested this on a radiator, the Noctua NF-812X25 is no longer my recommendation
