 And there's quite a lot of ventilation sort of just down the side of the chassis. So anyone fearing that the fact that it has tempered glass on there isn't going to have sort of the right ventilation, you've got plenty on both sides. Now behind that dust filter, there is three installed fans. These are the LL120 fans

 And obviously, you have got these cable routing grommets as well, just to kind of, you know, neaten things up a little bit. So there are a lot of cable kind of loops on here as well. So as we can see, they've already kind of looped some of them in. But I do advise getting kind of Velcro cable ties, your normal kind of windy cable ties and just really trying to find somewhere that can tidy things up, you know, much neater for a variety of different means

 So a little bit of a difference there. Now the case itself comes in black or white, and we've actually got the white edition here. So I'm actually quite a big advocate of white cases, so really kind of looking forward to this to sort of see what it looks like and what kind of functionality it offers. Now luckily, because it is Corsair, they have gone with the kind of foam as opposed to polystyrene, so I know I can touch the case and not get a static shock

 So as we can see, they've already kind of looped some of them in. So there is that aspect of it. So the only other thing I really wanted to mention was build quality

Corsair iCUE 465X RGB Review

I'll start off with the pros. This is a gorgeous case. It's got solid construction, and the tempered glass panels let you just sit back and admire your system's internals. It includes three LL120 fans, which make up a large part of the price tag

 Air flow on this case is okay, but it's not great. The tempered glass front panel is a bit too close to the fans, choking them a little bit. However, let's be honest, if you're looking at a case like this, chances are you're gonna go with AIO liquid cooler for the aesthetic. The case supports up to a 240mm on the top and up to a 380mm AIO on the front

 However, between RAM and the chonky VRM heatsinks on most modern motherboards these days, chances are you won't be able to put a RAM on the top, so expect to side mount it. On the note, be aware that the PSU shroud blocks the bottom fan, so if you prefer to mount your rad with the barbs down or want to use a push/pull configuration for your AIO, you're gonna have to settle for a 240mm AIO.  Speaking of liquid cooling, the case includes two vertical expansion slots in case you want to vertically mount your GPU. Despite not really indicating as much anywhere in the documentation, these slots are designed specifically for liquid cooled cards, because they're right up against the glass side panel, so any air-cooled cards are probably gonna get real warm, real quick

They retail individually for $40 USD, or as a 3-pack with a Lighting Node Pro for $130. The case I received included a Lighting Node Core which is probably the most basic solution for RGB fan control that Corsair offers, but it's perfectly adequate

 You can pop that out and clean it. That would be the cold air intake for your power supply depending upon how you have it mounted. And I'll take the little screws out here, they have a little rubber washer there. So that when you tighten it down, that pushes on the glass with the rubber instead of a metal fastener pushing on it

 There's one in the front here that's easy to access. And we've got one on the bottom here for the power supply. So we can keep the dust out of the case. And again, of course, they really paid attention to getting air through the front of this case

 And then we have two of the vertical slots here, so if you want to mount a vertical graphics card in there, and of course there does make a cable that allows that. And then the space for the power supply. So let's try to get some of these panels open first. Look at the top there, so you've got this magnetic vent cover there and then the provisions for top fans or top mounted radiator

Corsair 465X RGB: In-Depth Case Review

 you have to somehow either swap 2 top fans or 2 front fans to put your AIO cooler. (3 fan AIO will not fit at all no matter the formation) this is trouble if you have long ram sticks because it'll hit the top formation or just not fit the cooler at all. (and this review is just for corsair's coolers, no idea how it'd deal with bulkier 2 fan AIOs.) luckily i bought a 2 fan & put it in the front but am considering upgrading

Good case for average builds

  Things I like:  3 free intake fans, space for 3 more exhaust fans.  Cable management is pretty good with the aforementioned caveat of the missing tie downs on the top od the power supply section.  Nice glass panel so you can see inside without opening it.  I wouldn't recommend buying this until they fix the top so you can get the moba screws in

Hard to Install Motherboard

 I have to say it does look really stunning, especially with those fans at the front. I do like that they still have the timberglass side and the front panel. It does look really nice and you can actually remove the dust filter here at the front. It actually looks a lot better

 But this new one does come up with a few new features and also is a slightly different design. Now as for pricing-wise, the 465X is retailing for around $150 on Amazon or $2,200 on Rebel Tech here in South Africa. Now that does sound a bit pricey, but take into account that you do get three of Corsair's LL Series RGB fans, which looks awesome and also performs really well, and that alone costs more than half of the case, so we have to take that into consideration as well. Now getting into the design, it does resemble the 460X somewhat still, but Corsair did make a few more changes

 Coming in at 16L, the Slager SM580 is all business when it comes to hardware. Cooling the GPU is also not an issue, there's plenty of ventilation for both intake and exhaust. Two 2.5-inch drives can be mounted behind the front panel, and if you need additional storage, you can use the mounting cages to store sets of 2

 So, the definition of a workstation is somewhat blurred these days, but basically, we're talking anything from a high performance video editing machine, all the way up to one that can be used for multi-GPU rendering. So, things that are important here for the system and the case, performance, cooling, reliability, and accessibility if you need to swap out components. So, let's start with the smallest one first, and here my vote goes to the NCase M1, probably no surprise to most of you. Now, you're not going to be building a multi-GPU setup in this case, but in terms of cramming as much CPU performance in a case under 15L as possible, this is the one that I'd personally go for

The price in my opinion is a big factor of why I'm led to that conclusion and why I would personally withhold recommending it to those who are not building $2,500 plus machines. My configuration didn't require a ton of add-ons only the $15 window kit, the vented side panel on the flip side and then the matte white panels but even then that makes the Cerberus a $255 US case and $305 US dollars if you wanted to do the same thing in the Cerberus X

 My initial plan for this was to stuff a 32 core thread ripper in here But then it's like well, I want to do a custom loop and well There's some other options and this does support XL ATX So those extra long motherboards would work in here, especially with the radiator mounted in the front You're just not gonna have super deep cars, but where we're using this for a rosy upgrade Maybe it may be a future build. You've also got this option for the rear plate Which will let you just mount your SFX power supply directly right there. And this is what we're going to use There are also other options So if you want a vibration dampened three and a half inch drive mount That you actually set up in the bottom of the case or in the top of the case. You've also got options for that Now even though this computer is slightly bigger than a lunchbox a little bigger than our old build We will be mounting this in the top Which will give us mount points for our handle So yeah, we can have another handle on this machine in case we need it to be portable strictly speaking Don't need a handle on rosy, but you never know with the top handle set up

 It's a pretty big card We have like five millimeters of clearance you ever take between our NZXT Kraken x62 You know all-in-one closed-loop cooler, which is necessary for 5 gigahertz on 14 nanometer. I mean, let's let's be real and You know and the GPU so and one of the things that Sliger is known for Is customization so they've really put a lot of thought into how you can customize the case So there's there's a pretty big cutout here over the motherboard This one is the one if you're gonna mount the power supply inside the case somewhere You can mount it vertically where I've got the radiator mounted and you've also got the the punch outs for a custom loop cooler So if you wanted to have your tank and reservoir or even your radiator located somewhere externally You could totally do that with this setup, you know You can have an external rad somewhere if you really wanted to so you could use this bracket for example to mount your SFX power supply internally in the case and then you know You would be able to use your SFX case your SFX power supply completely internally and it comes with the Extension cable to go from there to here depending on where you actually end up mounting your SFX power supply If you want to cram a standard size the ATX power supply you can but since you can get standard SFX power supplies up to you know 750 850 watts That's gonna be enough to cover builds.
