 this monster of a midsole, which is probably my favorite aspect of an actual sneaker you can see there. uh, there's almost like three different parts. There's three different parts of the midsole, so there's the vulcanized uh section right here of the midsole, which is like pretty standard with a lot of the Chuck Taylors and uh, it's got this phylon foam kind of design here as well. This is sort of like a cushiony I don't know if you guys can see that, but it's like cushiony like it goes in which should add a lot more Comfort to like when while you're walking and all that kind of stuff

 so in this review I'll be covering things like the specs, the information, the pricing, the sizing, and also a styling guide. So please stay tuned till the end for the whole styling bit. So first of all, I want to say that these are 170 Australian dollars which is a fairly priced sneaker, especially for all the things that you get in it. It's very chunky, especially just from the aesthetic side of it

 and I would like to say that now that I've got them on I feel like um, the heel like if you have heel slippage or problems like that with the um, the sneaker from the bottom from the back kind of It kind of lifts up and all that kind of stuff probably I don't know if this Snicker will be for you because it's kind of hard to get that heel locked down for me and I usually don't even have that problem. But so in terms of pros and cons about this sneaker, the only uh con I could see is that it might be a little bit too high and uh, that could be a cause for concern in terms of pronation of your ankle and all that kind of stuff. So that's probably the only downside I could see from it comes in three different colors I got the most minimal one which is like this cream Almost White off-white color and I'm really like can't for them to actually bring a black black and white version of this is it would be so cool I thought that would be one of their first kind of colorways to put out, but uh I think uh, these would definitely be one of their uh new high cells because I do see a lot of people um, wearing the Run star hikes and the motions and they look great. So I I have a funny feeling about this one that it will also pretty much take off and I just can't wait for the actual black and white colorway to come out

 They are the most iconic sneaker of all time.

 They're stupid versatile, they're absolutely timeless, they look better as they age, they

 come in every color under the sun, they're actually surprisingly good for lifting weights

 in as well, and you can buy them absolutely anywhere.

 This is Nick from StrideWise.com and today I'm going to be talking about my current favorite

 sneaker, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoe.

 We're going to talk about the construction, how to keep them clean, how they perform in

 They actually started out as a pretty ugly looking basketball shoe that Charles H. Taylor

 of the Acron Firestone put his names to, and now, they're everywhere.

 Now over the years I've worn through more Chuck Taylors than I can count, which is actually

 maybe a downside of this shoe because they do wear through pretty quickly, but I personally

 own or have owned a pair of them at some point in their lifetime.

 Right now I'm nursing four of them, but let's have a look at the construction and see what

 It was the first major change they'd made to the shoes since they came out in the 20s.

 The main differences are that the textile is quite a lot thicker in the upper, and there

 Number one, you can remove the insole, which you actually can't do with the original Chucks

 If you really need to remove it, you can maybe use a hairdryer that can help get the glue

 unstuck a bit, but it is hard to get rid of the insoles.

 That's one change, and the other big change is that the insole is quite a lot squishier

 So if you need a more squishy sort of shoe, that's fine.

 The Chuck 1s are a little bit more stable because the insole is a bit more basic.

 Now there's a lot of controversy about how to pick your size in the Chuck Taylor's shoes.

 For me, I go true to size, and it's fine.

 So I'm like an 11.5, well it's more like an 11.7 on a Brannock device, those devices they

 11.5 fits me really well, but you might want to consider going down to half size if you

 want a really firm fit, and that's something I might recommend if you're looking to work

 out in your Chuck Taylors, and yes, you can work out in these shoes.
