Initially, they seemed like a standard cotton-poly blend pair of underwear, and they are — but Columbia manages to combine the best of both cotton and synthetic fabrics for a very reasonable price. The cotton majority of the fabric keeps these drawers comfy and reduces potential lingering odors, while the polyester fibers wick enough moisture away to prevent a cottony, swampy feeling. 
We do wish that the seams were more smartly placed, as two seams run from the top of the seat to the back of the crotch, which could serve as potential chafe points. These might not be the best choice for fellas who like to wear pants with a tighter fit because these undergarments will leave those undesirable lines showing through. We also wished that the leg hems were lower profile so they wouldn't ride up while running or other activities. Regardless, we still think this is an excellent pair of underwear for any situation at a great price.

  I’ve replaced all my expensive cotton Tommy John briefs with the Columbia briefs which are stretch fit. Because they are essentially Synthetic I can easily wash them and wear then the next day while backpacking or traveling abroad.

 We were quite surprised by how durable the ex-officio boxer briefs are, even when being smushed by a bike seat or indiscriminately thrown in a wash with chore clothes. These skivvies will take a beating and keep on wicking, though we do love their performance. We were not impressed by the fit. The legs are appropriately snug for stretch fabric, but the crotch is somewhat baggy, offering less support than some of the others in the review

 The three-dimensional pouch in the front is both supportive and comfortable, and the plain seam in the middle is a nice touch to reduce chafing our head tester, especially liked the wide but flat waistband that kept everything in place without the bulk, like most of the polyester pairs Of underwear, the new balance boxer briefs aren't the greatest with odour control. The new balance website claims that these are odor resistant but did not claim any sort of details on how that would be achieved. We weren't particularly impressed with the soda control when we tested them. Although for a daily driver, these are a solid pair of boxer, briefs for work or play at number five, although just putting these on, won't, make you as ripped and skinny as the model on the packaging

 If you are tight on cash and need some drawers, we think they're worth your purchase at number. Three, the ex officio given and go is our favorite model in the whole review for getting out and being active? The sizing chart appears to be different now then when I ordered. But when I ordered the sizing chart said size small was 30-32 waist and medium was 34-36so I went with the size small.  Durability is always an issue with nicer underwear, and these seem to be made of a thicker fabric than many. These are very similar in feel, comfort, and stretch as the Ex Officio give n go, but they are much cheaper. Overall, I'm glad I found these. Happy with my purchase

I've had other models of Saxx underwear and never had a problem, but as others have mentioned these run very small. I ordered a large which is what all the others have been, but this particular pair were so tight I could hardly get them on. I'm worried an XL might still be too small. Way Too Small

 Two washes in and they are still tighter than my other pairs.  The "Ballpark Support" is top notch as always, keeping areas comfortable but not too constricted.  Overall if you are looking for underwear for the gym, these would be a go, but if you are thinking daily wear then I would opt for Saxx's Ultra or Daytripper lines instead.

  I think maybe my expectations were a bit different, while I was expecting some 'cooling' fabric, these are definitely made for workouts, runs, and other athletic activities compared to just wearing on the daily. The moisture wicking fabric is similar to that you will find in other "sweat resistant" clothing and just isn't that soft. They feel almost like tights and do not feel as comfortable to me. They fit tighter than the other Saxx I own, so I'm not sure they will stretch the same

 These were a step up from the stands boxer briefs I've had. They run a little tighter but they helps keep things in place. This new design also helps keep things cooler as well. I've put them to the test and found them to hold up great

These are the WORST! They ride up horribly, and the material is terrible, it's like a banana hammock of cooling material and gauze. It feels like a cheese grater in your crotch! I thought it was a size thing because I'm on the edge of large, they sent me a xl but it's even worse. Fruit of the looms are far better, I even have some Hanes xtemps that ride up pretty bad but those are wonderful compared to these torture devices. Do not buy these it's just a gimmick save your money and buy 6 or 8 pairs of 32 degree undies instead those are actually cooling and comfortable
