 Fit is a little baggy but for what this is (a rain jacket) it's perfectly acceptable as this allows for:  1. An underlayer, which you're going to need if it's wet AND cold.  2. Greater airflow to help with breathability and moisture (sweat) buildup inside the jacket when its rainy and warm

 For those complaining about it not fitting skin tight, you really dont want that with a rain jacket built with this type of waterproof material since it doesn't breathe...

I usually find my self wearing XL t-shirts and clothing so I tried the XL in the Olive green. It fits me well; my usual problem is that i am short and stocky. So I have to buy bigger clothes on average and have long sleeves or pant legs as a side effect. These are roomy but the length of the jacket it self and the arm shoulder width are not excessive broad or long

 Some what the sleeve are always going to be a factor for me. That is why the Velcro arm cuffs are nice to make that more comfortable. Biggest thing for me was the color green. Its what I like to say as OLIVE

 Without trying to sound dumb or arrogate its the same color as the photo; sometime not always the case.  Very happy with the try before you buy, the color fit and overall comfort at a reasonable price.

Try before you buy is great if your not sure on the size.  It varies so much from brand to brand

 Yeah, let's take a closer look at this jacket. This is a really nice jacket by Columbia, so this is meant to help keep water off of your body so it's a nice alternative to other jackets. You know this should work better than say like a puffy coat or so. yeah, or a fleece jacket or something like that which is gonna get wet so this will help protect you from from the elements a little bit better, which I think is nice

 I think it's at a good price point and it's very affordable for what you get because again, this is going to keep the water off you. Better than a flannel, Better than a puffy coat. Better than a fleece jacket, right? It's meant to keep water off and it looks good so you can wear it all the time. It's a great jacket

I would start with their calcite rain jacket...it is a very good in the rain and personally anything more expensive is overkill unless you are into alpine climbing

Two final options to consider come from within Patagonia’s own lineup: the Torrentshell 3L Jacket and minimalist Storm10. Rather than Gore-Tex, both jackets utilize 3-layer H2No (Patagonia’s proprietary waterproofing fabric) constructions, which give them the upper hand in value. The Storm10 is the lightest and most packable of the bunch at a scant 7

5-layer constructions, but adds breathability with a unique venting system: Rather than standard pit zips, OR extended the vents from the bicep all the way down to the hem, which creates a poncho-like style when fully unzipped. In practice, we found this TorsoFlo design offered significantly better airflow than traditional pit zips, which makes the Aspire a solid multi-sport jacket for activities from backpacking to backcountry skiing (although its hood isn't helmet-compatible). And the clincher for us: It manages to do all this while undercutting the Calcite by $74. Let me go ahead and write Here show it to y'all I bought it in this nice reddish color and and it's a size large and Truthfully, I can say it's been really really dependable Even like today when it was drizzling I didn't feel any concerns like it was gonna seep through the fabric or make my clothing underneath wet and Even all the details you can tell they put like a layer of plastic around the zipper to make sure it stays watertight And it's made of this really nice material this Gore-Tex and And Honestly, they've paid a lot of attention to details because they have things like this Velcro around the arms and Drawstring that is located inside the jacket that kind of goes into the left-hand pocket and One thing I do have to mention it doesn't have any inside pockets So if you want to store stuff like that, you won't find any here, but it does have a pocket up here and I don't really make much use of it myself, but there should need be Then another extra feature is zippers underneath the armpits Yes, it has pit zips. So if you open it up Should be able to add some ventilation for people who are doing things like activities like hiking and so on or and stuff like that, so and Finally, there's another drawstring around the hood
