 Welcome back guys we're here in the Gulf of Canary at Blackpool North Shore today and we'll look at the new Cobra King Min Wedge. Okay so the wedge for this year is actually the first of its kind so using that MIM which is metal injected moulding you've been able to make the whole clubhead from just one mould without minimal polishing or preparing it for this kind of straight onto the rack. So like the forging process you'd have to grind it down maybe do a bit of polishing to make it look nice this has just come straight out straight onto the rack. Reason Cobra have done that is because it's a much softer feeling club than normal it'll give you that nice precise feel around the greens

 Each one of the grooves in here is going to be slightly different based on the club's loft. So, the gap wedges, 50, 52 degrees, are going to have narrow, deep, iron-like grooves because you're going to typically be using those clubs on full shots, on approach shots. However, the grooves that are going to be found in the 54 degree on up, the sand wedges and the lob wedges, those grooves are actually going to be wider and shallower because those are designed to get water and debris, sand, etc., off of the hitting surface and away from the golf ball and the club face

 I've got an uphill sort of run to the flag now. So I can pitch this in a little bit lower, try and release it up that slope. So I'll switch into my 50 degree option now.  But sometimes then it's maybe not so good if you're a little bit steep on the ball, a little bit of a digger, it can get a little bit snagged up into the ground. But that's then when they're offering some different bounce options. So the back of the sole is where the bounce is gonna be to help you to get that club exiting out of that turf through that impact position. Okay, so let's get the 58 degree out

 It's trying to adapt to all those situations. I actually threw that right underneath that as much as I could, could definitely sort of feel it. And there you go. You can just see the little bit of grass left on there

 You can feel the sort of spin on the ball there. So that high pad weighted area, sorry, high as that CG, you hit below that, it comes out a little bit lower, a little bit hotter, a little bit more spin. That's a really good shot. That's a really good shot

 And that one again, just a little bit heavy, but got away with it. So overall lob wedge, I mean a foot, a foot and a half, a couple of feet. Can't really complain with that. That's not bad at all

You have a standard bounce, which is going to be for the average player that plays in medium turf conditions, takes a medium to shallow divot

 It maximizes consistency, crafting each sole for repeatable performance and turf interaction. The Hi-Toe design of the Hi-Toe 3 wedge helps to raise the center of gravity of the club, which does promote a little bit lower launch angle and provides a more solid feel. It brings the center of gravity away from low in the heel and more toward the center of the club face and TaylorMade has actually thickened the toe. They call it the Hi-Toe Pad, which adds a little bit more weight to the toe, again raising the center of gravity for better launch conditions and more solid contact for better spin
