Civivi Baby Banter vs Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Super Tinker

All I know is I like a nice approachable color like blue and to be able to hold my knives a bunch of different ways, and the baby banter is stellar in those regards)

sharpener works well on steel blades i've used it on grass shears and plant clippers even scissors with good results aluminum blades will take more testing. again only problem is handle with care . droping can lead to brakage.

My biggest grip about this or any other knife with a phillips screw driver is mouting on the bottom side with the resulting "T" formation... really decreases the utility of that blade

Crkt squid, to heavy for my liking with the full steel handle scales, but there should be lighter aftermarket ones, again a small blade, good for EDC/office, but very annoying to use for anything outdoors.

I think this is my forth Swiss Army knife. I like going ultra light, so whenever I lose a Swiss Army knife, I look for something else that might be lighter with fewer features that I don't really need. I just want a knife and scissors and the tweezers and bottle opener are a bonus. It comes in lighter than any comparable knife I can find

It's held a great edge for me. I use it for everything from opening and breaking down boxes at work, to cutting paracord and whittling while outdoors, and it keeps up. It retains its edge pretty well, and takes a sharpening easily. Cons: - Price

The super tinker is exactly the right all purpose knife for my lifestyle. I also now have one of the blade locking models as well. For quality, durability these knifes still maintain that tradition without disappointment. It is an investment well worth the price

Overall, this is a folder that I'm super excited about. It feels like really good value. The attention to detail is really great, and as much as I love Spyderco and my N5LW, this knife really makes it hard to take it out of my pocket for another knife (as if the Elementum didn't give my beloved N5LW enough of a run for its money). Really, when you can get something this nice for this price in this package, how much more of a knife do you need for EDC? For me, it's opening packages and light-use cutting stuff

The price was much better than the price I have paid elsewhere for the same knife. I buy these to give to my friends who are retiring and need a mobile tool kit like this.
