Chrome Mini Metro Messenger Bag Review

 How is this even a problem? p I'm a 6 ft 2 in tall 238 lb Athlete with no body fat and you'd think I was 400 lb. Trying to wear this thing half the time. I originally bought the mini metro and had to actually return it because it was so unwearable. I got the larger one and I can wear it as long as I have a t-shirt or something on

How is the strap this short?

  2. The seatbelt buckle feels like it's made out of light duty aluminum or tin, instead of the heavy duty steel from the older ones, as long as it holds up, it's a non-issue. Cost savings I assume?  Also, unlike the Metropolis the Citizen has nowhere to really stow the stabilizer strap when not in use. Am I missing something here? I don't always need/want to use the stabilizer strap

 I have the Citizen strap nearly maxed out, while my (older model) Metropolis and Kadet, I have around 8 inches of 'tail' to work with. Ultimately, I feel like I'll need to get a longer strap professionally installed..

Great Bags... but..

its good just wished the insides was bigger to carry more items its needs to be MORE expandable! overall i love the waterproof insides my items never get damaged...

 A little more strap allowance would really solve this problem, and it wouldn't cost them a whole lot. This is especially probably a concern for taller and those that have a larger build.  I like these bags a lot, but I still think that Chrome can perfect them just a little bit more!

 I would like to see them using more accents (especially a light colored liner to make finding things easier) to spruce up things a little bit.  My major gripe is with the strap system. It is very comfortable when adjusted all the way up, but there isn't a lot of versatility in how you can wear the bag, especially if your right shoulder gets sore.  Since I am unable to find a CHROME bag of the same size as my faithful "METROPOLIS". With trepidation and hesitation I am forced to return the "CITIZEN" and switch brands to a New York based competitor.

Too small for someone 6'2" tall not a suitable replacement for my "METROPOLIS"

I returned this bag because of two reasons: (1) It was a lot bigger than I expected, even when I did measure it out. (2) The material is the equivalent of rough canvas, even though it looks smooth. Additionally, that strap pad is NOT thick enough to compensate for the weight of the bag once you put items in. I was wearing it for 5 minutes after putting my laptop in it and the strap was just cutting into me like none other

Completely over-engineered and good ergonomically. I have a 10+ year old camera straps for a DSLR I bought from them as well - soft, stretchy, lightweight, and has held its shape better than any I have ever owned. Have not bought from them in years mostly because I have not had to replace either. I use a different brand of backpack because they have a bike helmet holder built in, but I still look on the Crumpler website from time to time

I'm looking for a messenger bag that will be a safe way to carry my 15.6" laptop, a tablet and a portable 15.6" display for work. I can't seem to find something that's very rugged but also looks professional. 

I'm a sales engineer so frequently walking manufacturing plants where there's risk of tons of dirt and oil getting on the bag but I do also sit down at meetings with high level execs and a backpack doesn't come off as professional. It's also hard to be pulling my tablet out for notes and putting it back in as easily with a backpack vs a messenger bag especially when I'm doing something in a plant that requires both hands.

Any recommendations?

 To sum it up, If you are in need for a bag/backpack, and you want something that'll last you a long time, ... CRUMPLER got you covered

 Alright, so that is all the compartments you have. safety compartment with a zipper or YKK as well, the main compartment with a laptop sleep or up to 12 inch and a big yellow area here for you to put all the other stuff that you have to put in. Zip this up and then the front compartment comes with a waterproof zipper for you to put quick get to stop under the flipper. You get a little compartment here as well for you to get put in some necessities like your sunglasses or lotions or you know lip balm or whatever you need to put in and then you close it up
