 that's why I went with the red one. Now the next one is the blue and green cherry Mx switches. These are clicky ones. See, you can hear the clicky sound

 Of course on the black one, I can press it and halfway it turns on and then it bottoms out. You can't see this on the video, but it does feel like I have to put a little bit more pressure on it, which is something I don't like because I don't want to fatigue my fingers too much when I'm typing. I want it as light as possible while still functioning. so that's why I like the red one more than the black

 Again, this is a little bit too heavy, but maybe for people with really fat fingers or a heavy hand they would want it to be heavier so that they don't accidentally activate a switch. Typists kind of like this clicky one, but if you're in an office environment, you really don't want this clicky one because every single key you press is going to go click click click. You might annoy some of your coworkers, so you might not want to get a clicky one for a office environment and go with something that doesn't click, just maybe a tactile or even the red. like me, I have a feeling this green one is probably malfunctioning a little bit because it's supposed to activate right after it clicks

 Companies usually have to pour either on the left side or in the middle, sometimes on the right side, but not just 10 millimeters off. The center keycaps here are a nice lightly textured double shot Pbt set. This is great for avoiding any fingerprints and smudges and stuff like that. We still do have that regular Corsair font, which is still kind of a bummer, although they do include this cool looking radiant space bar with all these triangles and that too is textured to the touch like you can feel the actual design

 Having an extra 7 taxing rate on your Cpu really just is not worth it at all. And in their Iq software, it is set to 1000 hertz by default. So you do have to go in and change it to Ak and it will alert you like hey, Pc might take a hit because of this. But while we're here real quick, let's just talk Iq because it did seem to get a facelift

If you're on a budget I recommend the Gateron Yellow switches. I use my them on my keyboard in office and it doesn't really bother my colleagues.

Out of all the 'silent' keyboards I've tested they sound and feel mushy. Your better off looking at specific switches that are more silent. I've used the mx blacks before for a little while. Personally, I'm a mx blues user :)

I have just built my first ever mechanical keyboard and it works great. It is a TM680, Sushi PBT keycaps, and linear Gateron yellow switches which I am thoroughly enjoying.

I'm looking to try the Boba U4T switches (or the U4 for a shared office), on a Keychron K2 (hot swappable). Do switches feel different as they age? I bought a used V60 Cherry MX Brown few years back and just noticed that number keys feels more much more nicer. It's my first keyboard and not sure how new one feels like. Or maybe number keys feel different then other keys in general?

So I have the Magicforce 68 with Outemu Blues and it has been fine for a few years. I decided to pimp it a little bit with tape and foam and even put in some o-rings and it really made a difference. I know o-rings aren't universally loved, but they take the edge of the blues which I like. I just wanted to spice things up a bit without actually knowing what I'm doing. I've even ordered some lube for the stabs, which sound horrible.

However, I think I want to try different switches, Zealios v2 would be nice. I have 150€, maybe 200€ to spend.

I'd love a hotswappable keyboard so that I can change things about it easily down the line. I prefer TKL or even smaller like the 68 but I need at least two keys on the side like INS and DEL (which I'll map to HOME and END) for coding. I've looked at the Womier k66 and the Drop CTRL. Are there any (better/other) alternatives?

Or should I just buy a bunch of switches and just desolder the ones from my board and swap them out? I've never done that before, but I've soldered before and I'm pretty sure I can do it without messing anything up.

What would you recommend?

What are people opinion regarding GMMK Pro vs Keychron Q1? One of the keyboard store on my city has GMMK Pro ready, but I was quite interested in Q1 as well. I also heard that GMMK pro has problem on stab? also that it's stiff for a gasket mount? But how bad is it?

Any recommendations for a 75%/TKL keyboard that is able to connect to 3 devices (at least 1 wired connection) and can be used for gaming? So preferably high polling rate, low input latency and n-key rollover, and a way to swap between devices easily. 

I have two laptops for work which I would like to connect via Bluetooth, and one personal laptop to connect wired for low latency gaming (osu).

The only keyboard that I have found so far that is like that is the drop alt.  Are there any other keyboards similar to this or any reputable sites that builds keyboards and ships to Canada?

I'm undecided between the Keychron Q1 and the GMMK Pro for my first "custom" mechanical keyboard. One thing, however, that both share, is that they need a 1.75u right shift key and some 1u modifiers. Now, it's damn near impossible to find ISO-PT keycaps which I *need* cause I've been typing in this layout for 24 years now. I actually found one set that I like in that layout, the Traitors ukiyo-e, but it doesn't come with those necessary modifier keys. Anyone know how I might get spare modifiers without having to buy an entire extra set?

Hey so recently someone let me try out their switch tester and I fell in love with the Gateron Red Silent switches. 

I use my keyboard mostly for gaming and I like having RGB / Backlight because it's often fairly dark. Is there any good keyboard I can get in this configuration, with lighting and Gateron Silent Reds? Or a good recommendation for a keyboard with replaceable switches? I prefer wired as well for simplicity.

Going to fix my stabilisers soon. Anyone have input if keychron k2 stock stabilisers are good enough (im not a super enthusiast, but i just cant stand the space bar rattle) ? Or do i get a new one if im going to mod it anyway.

I had a very rough morning the other day when I spilled my black coffee all over my Ducky One 2 TKL. Unplugged it immediately, took all the caps off and let it air dry. After 24+ hours of drying, I plugged the keyboard back in. All the keys work, but it seems like several of my keys are "sticking" on both the way down and up.

Should i just call it a loss or do we think it's salvageable?

I don't mind buying a new one as it isnt going to break the bank for me, but it looks like all the ducky's are out of stock :(

Silent Keyboards under 100-110$? Cant get a Ducky since the shipping from Mechanical keyboards is so costly (3/4 of the price of the keyboard itself) and i don't care/prefer if they don't have wireless/Bluetooth functionality, any experiences with the BOYI mini? Should i just get a HyperX alloy origins core?

Hello, I’m looking into the market so get myself my first mech. keyboard. Currently, I'm picking between two boards, GMMK TKL and Keychron K8. Both are hot-swappable which is exactly what I’m looking for. My question is which among the two should I get based on their ability to be modded, build quality, RGB, and overall functionality?

I just got a cheap "Xtreme Tech LED gaming keyboard model XCA2-1012-BLK. It said it was led, but can find no manual listed for it on the website. I have seen wireless models on youtube, but not wired usb. Anyway there is no switches. Most videos said to him the FN key but it doesnt have that. I saw the scroll lock was on and it suddenly turned on the led when the scroll lock was turned off. So scroll lock turns on and off LED, but its all multi colored. Green on one section, then red, then blue. Is there a way to set it to one color?
