The second batch after a google search was a bit better... I thinned out my batter and the waffles cooked better and we were able to eat them (with ice cream!!!!!)

I’ve been a little disappointed with this waffle iron. I purchased it to replace my regular cast iron waffle iron which worked great but I wanted deeper crevices. I chose this one based on a recommendation and other reviewers. I like that it’s space saving and has a timer and ready light, but I don’t feel the settings work well to crisp the waffles

—This Cuisinart waffle maker is easy to use & clean. BUT, mine does not include the pancake plates, mentioned in the description. The plates of this waffle maker are not removable, so therefore, pancake plates would not work, either. Looks like this version was updated with NO removable plates, so NO pancake plates

As long as you are careful to avoid filling the included measuring cup past the fill line, the mix will not overflow when you close the waffle maker. This is a great addition to an already impressive product as cleaning up that sticky waffle mix is one of my LEAST favorite parts of making waffles! It took about five minutes to heat all the way up but once it did, I was pumping out waffles in no time! The quick cook time was awesome and a real time saver, especially when cooking for a family of five! The non-stick coating made cleanup a breeze and eliminated the irritation of having to scrape the waffles or waffle remnants off the maker as I've had to do with other models. Overall, this is a really well made, sturdy product that Chefman put a lot of thought into. I really love mine and could never go back to my old waffle maker!

This one is perfect. A buyer of any model or make needs to understand that the results you get are highly dependent on the batter recipe you use. A great baker friend of mine told me once, the difference between pancake and waffle batter is baking powder. The is NONE in waffle mix

Poor design. You need to have a handle on both lower part of the waffle maker and the top. This one only has a handle on the top. This means that if the waffle is sticky, you will have no way to separate the top and the bottom without burning your hand

This is a nice looking waffle maker. It's a pretty good size on the counter top. I was trying to replace a Calphalon round waffle maker that had broken but it must have been discontinued. Overall, this waffle maker works really well

Overall, this is a really well made, sturdy product that Chefman put a lot of thought into. I really love mine and could never go back to my old waffle maker!

Solid construction since old maker broke. Two at a time waffles a bonus! Overnight batter recipe is delicious!

And it's small, light, and so much easier to store than our last waffle iron. Note: we did receive this waffle iron for free in exchange for a review. But I can legitimately say we love it, will be getting rid of our old waffle iron, and will be using this one exclusively going forward. And will be making waffles more often because it is so easy all around

I debated buying the square model with removable plates, but wanted something a little smaller and prefer round waffles. I found that the removable plates aren’t necessary for me since it wipes clean very easily, but I could see how some may like that feature.

For the price this is ideal. Small, easy to store is a huge plus too. Cooks well, as easy to clean as most so overall a good value!

I bought a cheaper one earlier and returned it. This is good quality at a reasonable price.
