As long as you are careful to avoid filling the included measuring cup past the fill line, the mix will not overflow when you close the waffle maker. This is a great addition to an already impressive product as cleaning up that sticky waffle mix is one of my LEAST favorite parts of making waffles! It took about five minutes to heat all the way up but once it did, I was pumping out waffles in no time! The quick cook time was awesome and a real time saver, especially when cooking for a family of five! The non-stick coating made cleanup a breeze and eliminated the irritation of having to scrape the waffles or waffle remnants off the maker as I've had to do with other models. Overall, this is a really well made, sturdy product that Chefman put a lot of thought into. I really love mine and could never go back to my old waffle maker!

So with the new Cuisinart I've carefully cleaned all cooking spray and food from the cooking grids after each use. Waffles slide out, no sticking and the Teflon coating is like new after two months of use. I hope to keep it that way. It's a great double waffle maker

This one is perfect. A buyer of any model or make needs to understand that the results you get are highly dependent on the batter recipe you use. A great baker friend of mine told me once, the difference between pancake and waffle batter is baking powder. The is NONE in waffle mix

It was so HOT on Level 4 that I decided to wait to wipe it off when I was done making one pair of waffles. That took only a few minutes, but it was another 30 minutes before I could wipe off that baked-on batter. It wasn’t too noticeable, but I could tell that I’d really mess up its nice silver finish in a matter of months bc I intend to use it more than once a week. I’d be less likely to drip batter onto a hot waffle maker from a batter cup held by my right hand if I didn’t need to close it up and then turn the darn thing upside down quickly with my left hand, so a stationary model would be a better choice for me

Poor design. You need to have a handle on both lower part of the waffle maker and the top. This one only has a handle on the top. This means that if the waffle is sticky, you will have no way to separate the top and the bottom without burning your hand

• No batter portion scoop – not a problem for me since the Cuisinart came with one, but had I bought only the Black & Decker model I would have wanted a portion cup. • More compact design – definitely easier to store! • I liked the black plastic exterior – cleaned up easily and did not streak and smudge from the get-go as happened with the stainless steel Cuisinart. • Removable plastic drip plate beneath waffler iron is nice for easier clean-up • No beep notifications. A light tells you when the iron is heated, but nothing to tell you when the waffle is done cooking

Overall, this is a really well made, sturdy product that Chefman put a lot of thought into. I really love mine and could never go back to my old waffle maker!

She took all of my information, twice, in fact, because their system had been glitchy all day and the first entry of my info disappeared when she tried to submit it all. And it's small, light, and so much easier to store than our last waffle iron. Note: we did receive this waffle iron for free in exchange for a review. But I can legitimately say we love it, will be getting rid of our old waffle iron, and will be using this one exclusively going forward. And will be making waffles more often because it is so easy all around

The cup it comes with is the perfect size; I filled it up and poured it onto the griddle and it turned out to be the perfect size! After filling the one size, we closed the lid and flipped it. It turns very easily and locks sturdily in place when you get to the opposite side. Filled the cup up again with batter and poured onto the griddle. Closed that lid and flipped again to the other side

For the price this is ideal. Small, easy to store is a huge plus too. Cooks well, as easy to clean as most so overall a good value!

Too expensive to keep replacing every few years. Either make it a lot cheaper or make it last 20 years.:.
