Newly Gadgets

 This is the main downfall of this grill. Mandatory burn-off/scraping/brushing/oiling of the grate after each use is ridiculous. I love how quickly this cooks and the great flavor, but the required care is pushing me back to my old low-maintenance grill. Oh, and the ignitor on unit this quit after a few months use :^(

GREAT CONCEPT, POOR EXECUTION

 Living in a multi-floor home, it got cumbersome to lug all of my cooking utinsels, sauces, and food to grill downstairs to the big grill, especially for cooking for 2 people. But, when I did, I can’t ever remember a time where I didn’t wait for the big boy to heat up to at least 500 to grill. I don’t do low and slow on a grill. If I wanted that, I’d use my smoker or the oven

 The other comments on the grease holes in the grate clogging up are true too. I now have a better grill brush that I use on it after cooking, but about 3-4 cooks in, I find I have to take the grate out and give it a wash. Again, not terrible, but not the lowest maintenance compared to porcelain coated cast iron grates.  Summary: kinda sucks that I had to get an aftermarket regulator and get a maintenance routine for this grill

The Good and The Bad...

It does not matter how good a product is, if it is a grill and if it does not light/burn/cook, it is a shelf decoration only. Camping and ready to cook the main meal, but the grill does not work.

Don't waste your money. You cannot cook on this. There is only one temperature setting and it is blowtorch hot.

 Just add wood chips and seasoned meat and your all set. Wonderfull taste with that smoked flavor. Would not be with out either one.

OUTSTANDING BBQ & SMOKER

I bought this to downsize from my original weber Q and also get something that operated better at higher elevations. The weber has a much large grill surface then I typically need and struggles to stay hot when used over 8,000'

Outdoors For The Rest Of Us

 It cooks great and the green color is awesome. Cooking using the portable canisters is also awesome, but wasteful (those cans become garbage, right?) So I use the big 20lb tanks and carry those around in my camper for cooking. Make sure to get the griddle top for half or all the cooking surface. The ability that this grill has to stand on its own is great and the side tables that extend out are almost always in use for prep / table space

Love this grill, mostly. It's really easy to use and fairly portable so I can cook outside of the camper in the summer while we travel. The lock however, does not work well at all. You will need to use ratchet straps to hold it all together

 So I went ahead and took the liberty of putting the grates on there but of course you can see what it looks like without the grates, you see where the propane comes from and the drip pan here for adding water, get some moisture to your meat and also to kick some of those drippings. So yeah this is pretty much it, got the burners here, really cool and we've got to wait a bit to ignite it here instead of using some matches and I'm really excited right up under the bottom to see where I'll put the propane tank or the extension if I'm using that extension that I showed you earlier in the video to be able to use a larger tank. But for what I've seen online, it's not a bad portable grill, really good, I'll be able to give you more information about how my experience was, this is like a little locking mechanism here so you can be able to lock it for when you're moving it around and you got the thermostat right here on the top to let you know how everything is and that's pretty much it, it's not too heavy, it won't be too tickled too much space inside the SUV, I'm going to go traveling, haven't pulled these out yet and this is for any kind of accessories that I want to use when I'm grilling, another one on this side here, it's really cool so I can be able to put my stuff there while I'm grilling and not having to worry about too much of where to store things while I'm willing and dealing with this bad boy.  It is truly mobile and packs into a small place. The gas firing tube assembly is innovative, efficient and works well to control local and overall heat. Cleanup is easy and

 The only thing I miss is a rotisserie, which I didn't really use all that often anyway. The lid dome is too short to do beer-can chicken but I can live without that.  The cooking area is plenty adequate to cook meals for 2-4 people, including meats and veggies. The heat distribution is very even, it heats up fast and stays hot thanks to the heavy grill plates and solid centers which retain heat very well while the lid is open
