 If you wanna butter this board, you gotta get your weight way out on the nose or the tail, right into those softer spots, right where that flat section is, and really press into it. Expect a lot of rebound. Expect it to fight you. Just expect this board to want to just push back on you

 It does some things very well and it does some things very, very much in the realm of mediocre at best. I understand who this board is for and that rider will probably fully enjoy it. I am not that rider. This is not the board for me, but I think it does a disservice by having the DOA name

 You wanna keep your weight out over it. It's gonna give you some fight. It's honestly not the best if you're trying to slow speed butter. You need to really be hauling ass and really press into it, and the same can be said about jibbing with it

 You have to know what you're doing. You have to just be prepared for it. You're gonna engage it off the front, and that's gonna drive it into that turn, and then you have to understand when to steer it from the middle of the board through the back and where to finesse your weight and how to keep it engaged, because if you don't, you're gonna just have a sloppy ass carve, to be honest with you. This is a board that, the more speed and the more muscle you put into it, yeah, the better your carve's gonna go, but if you're doing slower speeds and you're still trying to lay a trench, not gonna happen

The 2021 Capita Super DOA Snowboard Review

 With this board you're going to get the same basic specs as you'll see in the regular DOA but you'll have a lighter weight construction, a stiffer board and just an all around more aggressive ride. With the Super DOA you're going to get a true twin shape so this board is ideally designed for a freestyle setting and because it's the stiffer version of the DOA it's meant to ride a little harder in that park setting so whether you're hitting those big gnarly rails or stomping 40, 50, 60 foot jumps this is the board you're going to want to ride. In the Super DOA you will get Capita's V1 resort profile so a traditionally cambered dominant board which you'll have regular camber through the length of the board but towards the tips you'll have a flat zero camber transition section, a small rocker section and then Capita's WAPOW flat kick tail technology. All of that is going to give you a super snappy and responsive board for when you're hitting those big ollies

 They have built structure into it straight out of the press that's going to keep it running fast right out of the wrapper. Because this is an aggressive board you're going to get a stiffer flex than you'll see in the regular Defenders of Awesome board. Obviously with that you're going to get a much snappier and powerful ollie as well. One of my favorite things about the Super DOA and all of Capita's boards is that they are handcrafted in the Mothership Factory in Austria

 So here we have the Capita Super DOA. The big brother board to one of Capita's best selling boards, the DOA are also known as the Defenders of Awesome. If you've been in love with the regular DOA in the past but you want a little bit more of a board, this is your next step

 It just happens This is one of those boards you can swivel and sizzle with when you're buttering The tips are very easy to engage due to that rocker zone and you can really put your weight out over it There's not a lot of fights There'll be a little bit of rebound but not like so much that it's overpowering your legs and you're fighting through everything you're doing It's a board that you know You can just play around with and have fun now when it comes to jibbing that sweet spot in the rocker zones Is immense and you want to make sure that when you engage it You're really pushing into it and utilizing that camber zone right where it meets it So you do get some pop out of the feature that you're on nose and tail presses very easy with this board Sliding sideways it hugs the feature, but you can feel that there's some girth in there So, you know, you might have to manhandle it from time to time if you're sliding sideways Don't worry about it. High-speed jibbing slow speed jibbing It's got you covered slow speed jibbing might be a little more iffy than high-speed jibbing But I wouldn't sweat it. The one thing I will say is the side cut is dialed on this board Transitions from edge to edge smoothly and very effortlessly It's one of those boards that you can rail a hard carve with or you can be a little more laid-back and mellow you want To just transition slowly as you go from one side of the trail back to the other Do it you want to do a tight quick setup turn go for it or if you really feel an aggressive and you want to just Load the center of that board get deep and slow and just lay your arm out It's gonna be able to handle it now I didn't get this board on any ice so I really can't comment on how that side cut is on ice But I know for when I was riding this thing it felt great What I can say is that when I was riding the mini pipe side cut felt felt locked in especially when I was Transitioning across the flat bottom and then going up the wall Didn't feel like it was gonna wash out. So it's got that going for it So who is this board for all mountain freestyle rider with more of a freestyle focus or even a rad dad? This board super fun

 I rode this board on a sunny bluebird day at Copper Mountain and the snow Consistency was anything from ice and shunder to slush and perfectly groomed corduroy. There was a moderate amount of wind but not a lot and I rode this board with my K2 Thraxxas boots and my K2 Indy bindings. This board comes in with just above a middle of the road flex So, you know, you got a little bit of play in the nose and the tail stiffer through that midsection With a little bit of torsional flex, but not a crazy amount of it. Now this board's Fairly stable for the most part

 It was pretty damp. I had pretty good edge hold out there today on this board. The snow is really soft, but I was able to get a really good edge in and lay down some carves. This is a really good all-terrain board

 This board is definitely not for beginners or even kind of early intermediates. It is on the more aggressive side, so I would probably look for something else.
