 If you wanna butter this board, you gotta get your weight way out on the nose or the tail, right into those softer spots, right where that flat section is, and really press into it. Expect a lot of rebound. Expect it to fight you. Just expect this board to want to just push back on you

 It does some things very well and it does some things very, very much in the realm of mediocre at best. I understand who this board is for and that rider will probably fully enjoy it. I am not that rider. This is not the board for me, but I think it does a disservice by having the DOA name

 You wanna keep your weight out over it. It's gonna give you some fight. It's honestly not the best if you're trying to slow speed butter. You need to really be hauling ass and really press into it, and the same can be said about jibbing with it

 You have to know what you're doing. You have to just be prepared for it. You're gonna engage it off the front, and that's gonna drive it into that turn, and then you have to understand when to steer it from the middle of the board through the back and where to finesse your weight and how to keep it engaged, because if you don't, you're gonna just have a sloppy ass carve, to be honest with you. This is a board that, the more speed and the more muscle you put into it, yeah, the better your carve's gonna go, but if you're doing slower speeds and you're still trying to lay a trench, not gonna happen

The 2021 Capita Super DOA Snowboard Review

 With this board you're going to get the same basic specs as you'll see in the regular DOA but you'll have a lighter weight construction, a stiffer board and just an all around more aggressive ride. With the Super DOA you're going to get a true twin shape so this board is ideally designed for a freestyle setting and because it's the stiffer version of the DOA it's meant to ride a little harder in that park setting so whether you're hitting those big gnarly rails or stomping 40, 50, 60 foot jumps this is the board you're going to want to ride. In the Super DOA you will get Capita's V1 resort profile so a traditionally cambered dominant board which you'll have regular camber through the length of the board but towards the tips you'll have a flat zero camber transition section, a small rocker section and then Capita's WAPOW flat kick tail technology. All of that is going to give you a super snappy and responsive board for when you're hitting those big ollies

 They have built structure into it straight out of the press that's going to keep it running fast right out of the wrapper. Because this is an aggressive board you're going to get a stiffer flex than you'll see in the regular Defenders of Awesome board. Obviously with that you're going to get a much snappier and powerful ollie as well. One of my favorite things about the Super DOA and all of Capita's boards is that they are handcrafted in the Mothership Factory in Austria

It's got their C2 camber which features a rocker in the middle of the board with two camber sections directly under foot and then that transitions back into a rocker at the ends. It's the most versatile profile in Libtech's line and it blends a really playful forgiving and floaty feel from those three rocker sections with a load of power and response right under foot. It actually makes a lot of sense you keep some of the swing weight down at the ends of the board but still have enough volume in the tips to help with more stability and float

 So now we come on to Libtech's infamous magna traction. Think of this as the bread knife of side cuts designed to slice through the crustiest iciest and diciest conditions and give you rock solid edge hold on every turn. If you look down the side cut you'll see that there are seven serrations between the nose and tail. Now these give you additional contact points and loads of traction throughout the board's effective edge

 What's going on? Shane Serrano here coming to you from Radio Boardshop in Aspen, Colorado. And in this video I'm going to be talking about the 2021 Travis Rice Pro from Lib Tech. Let's check it out. So here we have the 2021 Travis Rice Pro

5 wide. The T Rice Pro comes in at $599.99. Taking a look at the construction of the T Rice Pro this board is built with Lib Tech's C2 camber rocker hybrid

 This graphic is underneath the last layer of base material so you don't have any die cuts that pop out or slow you down. Lib Tech also kindly factory waxed this board with one ball jay wax so it's going to be fast and ready to ride right when you open it out of the wrapper. Because this is a Lib Tech board you're going to get magnetraction down the edges of both of these boards which means you have a serrated edge down the length of your board which puts more contact points into the snow so you're going to have better grip if you're in icier conditions and it's also going to hold a little better when you are in the middle of a carve. The magnetraction technology really pairs up nicely with the C2 hybrid profile because when you're on that rocker zone in the middle it puts an edge into the snow so it's not as loose as if you just had a fully rockered board
